If WATTS stays, I'd like to see him out on the wing. A "wide receiver" of sorts. To do that his endurance running both ways and defensive mindset would have to improve dramatically. But he wouldn't have the same amount of Heavy Physical contact which he obviously doesn't like.

Deep down, I believe he wants to be home with his family. His family would also love to see him back here, now that we have a respectable coach. I'd also like to see Adam Tomlinson come back home. But I don't know too much about him still wanting to be here.

I would have liked Junior around the club, not because he was ex player, more so because he is the right sort of character. He doesn't have an ego problem, he has a great work ethic. That is the type of person that would change the culture.

I'd grab Boyd if we got a PP but not if he was our only top 10 pick. I'm not overly confident relying on Dawes or Clark to play a full season. Clark has got 2 years left of his contract. If he can't get himself on the park this year, I would kiss him good bye. Ditto for Dawes chronic calf injuries has sidelined him. Chronic conditions never seem to go away. We definitely need one of our top 10 picks to trade for a top midfielder.

There are a lot of candidates worth talking to. Burns Tudor Ling Black Simpson. If Sumich gets the Eagles job then the Succession plan would be right up Burns alley. Similarly for Tudor & Simpson depending on who gets the Lions job. Ling or Black as Mid Field coaches. They could wait in the wings if the succession plan goes awry. Either way there is a lot of talent out there. I wouldn't consider a senior coach as understudy to ROOS. Once a head coach. They have too many ideas set in stone. So forget Voss, Ratten, Williams, Craig etc..
