Not much Love in the room for someone who has given 22 years of his life,body and soul to the game. Some of the comments on here about Harvey are the most disparaging ,insulting and ungracious stuff I have read about a player on Demonland . Congratulations to those posters. My heart is warmed that although he has broken many records for longevity, he has engendered almost universal disdain. It's a rare, short ,ugly boring little big nosed [censored] that can do that.

He didn't guild the lily. I didn't remember him hitting Matthews after the Bruns assault but good on him for doing so. A lot of old players talk about their treatment as cattle and the very little they made out of what is now a multi billion $ industry. He has some open hostility for open Mile due to something personal but I would be interested to read the articles. No love for the MFC , Robbie, Barrass ,John Devine.etc but respect for Crosswell.

I remember Rod Keogh. Wore the 31 and played a bit of seniors with Melbourne. I though he was pretty good but possibly he had issues with the coach or vice versa. Rod Owen was good too but also Had a party hardy reputation.

They missed the cheap hit on Gawn when he couldnt even see it coming. Max channeled his anger and got the next clearance but he was extremely angry and disciplined at the same time. What a champ.

Like most of suburbia, we have an unhealthy reliance on McDonalds. Previously we were too reliant on the Hunger of Grimes,Trengove ,Watts. The Hungry Jacks ,the McDonalds are not a healthy dependence.

Hes one of about 5 great leaders we now have. We previously only had Jones . Don't give a rats that he gave away frees.
