Pretty excited about the retirements and Cloke to Richmond is just a beauty .

Lot of clubs have been offering huge celery to Stewart Dew,which was rejected. He would be the largest signing for us in years. Could teach our players to go for the Krill.

Ruining the Hawks mentally . The other wins were fairy floss.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Biffen replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Stop crawling up the players rings Saty. "Naive footy player"- give it a rest? You are old school in your staunch support of players but when they [censored] up, as they do, they must acknowledge it and not blame others. Responsibility in the hands of the guy that made the error. No apologists/ hiding the truth. Same with on field performance . -
Fitz was a good servant and I would normally wish him all the very best . Since he has chosen Hawthorn as his club I wish him many losing games and continued failure.

Kids don't need o follow their parents team. They don't need to eat the same food or enjoy the same comforts as their parents . They can choose to be Mavericks and choose to follow Hawthorn, choose to sleep in the garden shed and eat from the rubbish.

He's achieved nothing since becoming coach. I wonder if complacency has set in.

Jade Rawlings has an IPad instead of a clipboard now.

Just needs one more pre-season. Big guys take longer. Hard to get a game behind the AA ruckman. but yes ,4 games a year is not ideal although I like Frank.

Channel 7 ,the Afl, and the Watsons are all tied up here. Gillon and Jobe are Albert Park neighbours so it will be a private matter with little mention on 7, perhaps dealt with on Cup Day or on Us Election Day. If Jobe weren't such a spoon fed little cheat he would hand it back without anyone asking.

Scott Thompson - Would we welcome him back?

Can I suggest we get them to watch the beginning and end scenes of the Gallipoli Film during off season.

Reminds me of the local flasher in the park who was considering retirement. He decided to stick it out for another year.

I really wouldn't consider any of them slow but I will agree Dangerfield,Motlop and some over AFL players are quicker. I still like Hunt on a HBF / Wing.

We have Brayshaw,Viney, Salem basically at the beginning and tracking better than Ok. Along with Choo Choo and the slouchy skipper ,Tyson,Petracca ,Vince and VDB . Trengove rag dolled Dangerfield too .He will add some zip won't he?

I merely raised the question DT. However I think he is unlikely to play on ,especially for us.

Is this the chap that exposed himself on the internet? Those are the leadership skills we must be seeking.

The number of people touched by the sight of boomer walking off the oval with the old firm of Petrie and Firrito was heartwarming. There was at least four of them outside the players families.

Greater Western Sydney (a dynasty to rival the Hawks)
Biffen replied to Diamond_Jim's topic in Melbourne Demons
There is a way to even out their dominance and it involves injury,a tyre iron and new contracts for for afl mercenaries . -
Nice one cards. Can imagine Fitzy and Gys ripping up the floor with lollipops and flouro necklaces .

Umpires are having trouble getting involved but they will come home with a wet sail.
