6. Clarrie - back yourself son and you will be elite as shown tonight 5. May - awesome down back never looked in trouble 4. Viney - set the tone in the first and was good throughout 3. Lever - along with May controlled the backhalf although some strange decisions to punch when he could have marked but very good overall 2. Trac - nearly set the game alight on several occasions and showed some real class at times 1. Weid/Jacko - loved their work together in bringing the ball to ground and second efforts at ground level

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Thought we controlled the second half, didn't transfer it onto the scoreboard in the 3rd but put the foot on the throat in the 3rd. Not forgetting how difficult it is coming off 4 day break and then you're 2 goals down at 3 quarter time and we kick the first of the last they dropped off a fair bit. Clarrie measured and outstanding Viney set the tone early Jackson wow showing plenty and certainly came up against a very good defender tonight. Like the way he and Weid work together. May and Lever very good Brayshaw excellent 2nd half. Still plenty of room for improvement, turnovers and transition issues from defensive half as were on display in the first half tonight will see you going in 5+ goals down at halftime against decent sides. Also taking into account Crows have been good at home

Go Get Garry
Really feel for you all back in Victoria at this time, when the team performs like that. At least I have my boys both playing juniors on Sundays and we can go and watch Ammos games every Saturday.

Go Get Garry
My mail Dazzle is Garry never actually spoke to Ross he did all the talking with Ned Kelly who was trying to negotiate an extension with St Kilda. Ned was blindsided by Ross and I believe Garry's approach to Ned was just before Lyon had started seriously talking to Freo

The Rest of the Season
I choose never to give up when there's a chance, do you remember 1987. There's always hope, things are never as good or bad as they seem

I think I've worked it out...?
Did Gawn lose you when he missed that sitter against Geelong in Round 1 of 2018 from directly in front. FCS one kick

"No Merger" Podcast
I watched the merger match at the end of 1996 with the mindset this will be my last time watching my Demons.. So strong was the media noise of the merge being a foregone conclusion. I remember at the time thinking can I really support anyone else. Thank god it never came to fruition

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
My thoughts although if you play through him and force them to be accountable that's an option but personally I would bring in Tomlinson

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Another ingredient as was pointed out in numerous still images highlighted by many pundits after our loss to Richmond, things were happening on field that weren't anything to do with coaching, more to do with players making poor decisions. Players have been a lot more composed and made better decisions however IMO this has to do with coaching as I would consider the playing group have been told not to play on all the time and to take a bit more time with the ball in hand. Very hard to change what has been ingrained over 3 seasons with the manic gameplan. This has been even harder to change and work on with the covid impact on training sessions. When the message was conveyed to the playing group to slow down was made who knows, but on the evidence of the last two weeks the playing group has adopted it, but lets see if their poise and decision making remains when we come up against a side who brings a high pressure heavy tackling game.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
My two boys were playing today and I did listen to the last quarter driving home from my oldest's game, so knew the score when watching the replay which I just finished. Awesome effort loved that we weathered the early pressure and the second week of smarter and more composed ball movement. Gawn was absolutely awesome as was Trac, backline good again as a unit and the Jackson/Weid combination had me smiling with a lot of promise shown. Looks very much like Gawn, Oliver and Viney have taken the criticism after the Tigers game personally and are playing angry with points to prove. Next week will be interesting

Cody Weightman (Drafted by Western Bulldogs)
DD what's your thoughts on Spargo playing a similar role to Caleb Daniel. Spargo made some very good decisions with ball in hand during 2018

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
The media bashing of the Hawks needs to stop, nothing worse than an opponent who has copped it from all and sundry in the week leading up to their game

Jonesy to 300?
If he's fit enough he and the FD feel he has something to offer they will keep him on, next season but it won't be for sentiment. Love Jonesy but we are talking 13 games not a handful. I don't think he'll be gifted any games, he could still play as an inside mid, but we don't need anymore of them currently. Whatever his final game count is he is already going to be remembered as a great servant of the club.
