Captaincy 2020
you need to learn about leadership and team The entire leadership group takes the blame not just 2 In fact those senior players not part of the leadership group shoulder blame If someone requires a title to lead they are not a leader

Captaincy 2020
Reality is you don't know what the inner sanctum or playing group thinks. Why not ditch Gawn, Jetta and Viney along with Jones who has already stood down. Any part of the leadership group of 2019 should go by your logic FFS, it's comical

Rating Our 2019 Draft
Agree Dazzle with the compromised draft next season and those taken last year having a year into them I'm really happy we managed to get 3 players all competitors ready to go. I really rated Sharp and Rivers and to turn pick 8 into the player we were likely to take and Rivers is fantastic and really shrewd work by the list management team. I've no doubt we'll start looking at a late diamond with hardness and the competitive edge to take next year

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
I think it helps a bit, with mates getting drafted to the same City or club

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Sounds familiar was the EFFC futures coach tied to Willetton, used to happen a fair bit with development coaches poaching players back to their clubs to build power sides. New rule was bought in this year limiting the amount of development players allowed to be in a team. Rule doesn't come into effect if the players were already tied to your club. I live Northside and know a Junior club President was eventually removed after years of loading up teams and ignoring warnings

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Not worried about who he's listed with he's a Willeton Junior along with Chad Warner not sure about when that changed You still have to register with a junior club when you're playing colts. Oscar Allen is listed as Whitfords junior, he played maybe 2 games there being registered there in his last junior season but he came through Sorrento Duncraig

Welcome to Demonland: Trent Rivers
Not quite junior club DD, That's their WAFL Club Rivers is from Willetton Junior Footy Club same as Kane Lucas, Aaron Sandilands, Shaun Mcmanys, Dom Cassisi, Rhys Palmer and Richard Hadley Jackson hails from Bullcreek Leeming who produced a couple of Brownlow Medalists/Premiership guns in Simon Black and Ben Cousins Rival clubs from the South East of Perth right next to each other, so you're correct no go home factor all 3 new interstate boys can bond together Welcome aboard Trent really happy to get him with our 3rd pick

Simon Goodwin on SEN (28/11/19)
We can assume that but you and I are not resident hand ringers
-
Elijah Taylor (Drafted by Sydney)
Could be Jeff Farmer, but could easily be Clem Smith or Ash Sampi

Elijah Taylor (Drafted by Sydney)
Upside is huge but buyer needs to beware. IMO most talented small forward but attitude and other issues need to be addressed

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Both good players but I think Sharp fills our needs more. Rivers would be the more versatile defender but for mine Sharp is an underrated ball user and decision maker. Watched him play seniors after the Championships and he stood out as the best player on the ground. Kick was penetrating off half back and wasn't phased by the greater pressure in the seniors with his decision making. And yes AF he's bigger than Vince and a good athlete at Aquinas College. He wouldn't be as hard at it as Bernie Spoke to someone last night who believes he's unlikely to get to us with the Cats pretty keen. They have been into him all year. He also expects Brissy to take Robertson who he knows Cats have also been monitoring
-
What to do with what is now Pick 32?
Robertson was a heavy 16 year old before he knuckled down
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Welcome aboard the Dee train LJ Think his team mate Jeremy Sharp or Trent Rivers may be joining him in red and blue with our next pick
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
Welcome aboard KP, You're one of us now and have my full support. Surely he gets #36

Taylor Excited About the Draft
Cripps Simon Black, Buddy, Corey, Duncan all top players who have never entertained going home Just like Pav never wanting to leave Freo for SA Not everyone is the same, Jesse's circumstances were ever changing and a lot of it was out of his control
-
Deven Robertson (Drafted by Brisbane)
You're not missing anything AF, his most outstanding feature is the leadership. Hard to gauge and see in testing or underage level. I see him as a player who will stand up in the big occasion. I don't see him as one whose going produce moments of magic or brilliance that wins games. I see more of a player who will refuse to lay down and will throw their body at anything and make those desperate 1%ers that win games. He'll lift those around him who are the icing on the cake players
-
Taylor Excited About the Draft
like Nev Jetta?
-
Hayden Young (Drafted by Fremantle)
Dean Cox was a terrible kick when he was first taken and debuted. He took a while to work on his kicking
-
Phantom Drafts
Wouldn't pick Pickett in front of Serong or Kemp
-
Nearest the Pin
3. Green/Jackson 11/12. (allowing for Green/Henry bid) Serong/Kemp 28. Sharp/Taylor/Rivers
-
What to do with Pick 10?
Can't see it unless Sydney or Adelaide spring a couple of surprises
