  1. Loss to the game and the football community, a genuine nice guy, character of the game who gave back at grassroots and left a smile on the face of many who met him. RIP Spud thoughts are with Anita and all the family
  2. Wayne Rooney is the only one I can think of
  3. @dazzledavey36 talk about sick and twisted however I read through the thread and interesting to see how many posters this season if doom are absent in this thread our resident clown only posted once and it was to praise Chris Scott's press conference, which is obviously the first thing which would come to mind as a real Dees supporter after your biggest highlight in 12 years
  4. Not referring to you D17 re read, carefully
  5. Type of person who walks into the front counter of a cop shop and says I got punched for no reason Will have accounts on all AFL club supporter forums Never actually talks about tactics strategy or set ups
  6. Cats must apply pressure at the stoppages and stop the kicking game of the Eagles Would love the AFL to move the game to Kardinia Park
  7. anyOne ever know of a person peopLe who always are Involved in, generally Starting trouble/Incidents at pubs and walks away while others are left without ank Knowledge of why they are arguing.
  8. Should be any day along the announcements of Petracca wants out There's division between the captains Richardson is ready to walk Qnd whatever else the Soothsayers come up with
  9. Go and watch his 2 finals matches against Geelong and Hawks last year I think he knows about finals intensity Last night would have taught him SFA Don't bomb in high and slow to the Eagles defence You need to apply pressure at the ball carrier to prevent the Eagles from playing their kicking game Essendon lack inside bulls and until they address it they won't be any good in September Don't play to many injured players
  10. Masten is depth Kennedy almost done, there's injury issues there, struggles to get up from week to week Nic Nat as above, great last night and is a freak, but struggles to mmaintain strings of games together. He's to big to play that position long term I think their biggest asset is their coach
  11. I'm more looking at his hard running bringing others into the game, opening up holes, creating options for quicer ball movement But I agree he aint great by foot
  12. His work around the clearances is his biggest asset. Opponents need to expose him around the ground
  13. South Fremantle
  14. If Shiel shot an arrow in the air he'd miss
  15. Yes how ridiculous they used to have a charity match in honour of him. I'll leave it there because he has passed but a tainted man in many ways
  16. He pushed the boundaries in the off season and I thought there was another Sampi coming but after blowing off some steam he got right back into it, with some strong guidance One reason why we should never let Nev Jetta leave the club
  17. What do you expect wallow in misery or get the holiday out of the way with family and be ready to go day 1 pre season Either way they can't win
  18. Happy to say I got the Liam Ryan call wrong, never thought he'd put the hard yards in to play consistent footy at this level Credit to him and the hardwork put in by Phil Narkle and Ryan
  19. Wasn't having a go Sue @McQueen @Bobby McKenzie @Ethan Tremblay can all tell you how bad the media are over here. They never say anything against the Eagles The West Australian and Channel 7 WA are absolute cheerleaders and the continued worship for Cousins, Kerr etc is an embarrassment
  20. Thanks for your service Jade IMO been good during his time. Would have liked him to stay on, but if he's gone to the club and asked to be released due to an offer from Brady he wishes to pursue than you'd be hard pressed to say no
  21. Not entirely correct Sue. Their behavior for years was shielded by the pro West Coast media in WA. Others stayed quiet for fear of isolation. Trevor Nesbitt was aware what was going on and brushed it all under the carpet. And he's still in charge
  22. Not me 100% Dub born in The Coombe, all 4 Grandparents from Crumlin and the Great Grandparents are all from Thomas St and the Liberties God no I live in Perth
  23. Hard to know, guess all interested parties would do their due diligence. We were into Jeff White very early doors, Eagles did the same with Cripps and Yeo
  24. Yes agree Ashes is a priority NRL is neutral for me Macca with the Dragons cooked Everton in the EPL 6th at best GAA All Ireland Football replay in 2 weeks with my boys in blue going for 5 in a row, never been done before Been a Patriots fan since the 80s so been a good 30 years, but all good things come to an end
  25. Yes The Ashes has come at the right time but still love the game of footy at all levels
