I don't post on bigfooty, but head over there every so often. The main page conversations always deteriorate quickly, but the Melbourne board is pretty good. There isn't the constant fighting and clash if opinions like there is here which is nice. I read a thread on there once about demonland and many of them had started posting here but got shotdown. RhinoRichards name was mentioned alot.

Andy Mac on bigfooty had a lunch function this week with special guest Simon Goodwin. He has written a heap of info in this bigfooty thread. Who would you be willing to part with? It would need to be someone with talent to get the deal done. The expansion teams have academy's which are a massive advantage. But on the flip side, they will always need draft picks to get the players.

I can remember many years ago when Moloney and Rivers had such extensive lay offs that I posted 'anything we get out of them from here will be a bonus. They have been out so long that I no longer view them as viable players.' That was around 2008. Rivers had been out for almost two years and Moloney had made it back for a few moments before going down again. Both went on to play out very good careers. Before that was David Schwartz who went on to become the ox afer 3 knee reco's. That's just the Demon players off the top of my head.
