I have been watching on my mini tablet for 3 years now. I will continue to watch on that. I refuse to pay for foxtel as I use to work for Sky Tv in the UK. Not a surprise that they wont improve their service to get you to buy. They just make sure everyone else is [censored] too.

Every heart beats true for the red and the bull? I highly doubt the AFL will get to the point where this is allowed in my life time. I would still watch the games the same way I do now. I would be just as invested in the club as I am now. That wouldn't change. But if the AFL let us be sponsored in that way and have that much money poured into us, then other clubs would have to be allowed to do the same. Eventually all teams would have a sponsor and the short lived advantage would be taken away.So we sold out for very little. Additional question: If it came down to the Demons folding or becoming Red Bull Demons what would you choose?

Poor guy. I hope he is OK. Life can go off the rails pretty quickly for a lot of people. He needs a good support network around him. An AFL club environment would be a pressure cooker for many people.

We gave up pick 20 and 47 for Dawes and pick 61. They used pick 20 on Tim Broomhead who has not had a great career to date with only 20ish games. Grundy was taken with pick 18. Ben Kennedy was pick 19.

Indeed. I think most posters agree that we are a bit light on with outside mids. If Salem is able to deliver on his potential then we will all be very happy. Also, Melkshem reported on Melbournefc.com.au that he was told when joining the club that he would be playing off half back but now is training as a mid. Lewis will also be adding to our outside mid arsenal and I am predicting Stretch will make great progress this year. All of a sudden we are starting to look a lot better in this area.

How is he going @Drunkn167? Any reports on how he is finding the club/training?
