  1. I've had a bit more of a look at this kid. 174 cm - 76kg. It does seem very small. So I thought I would compare it to other smaller players. Brent Harvey - 172cm - 75kg Eddie Betts - 173cm - 7kg David Rodan - 173cm - 87kg Jarryd Blair - 174cm - 81kg Hayden Ballantyne - 174cm - 79kg Ben McGlynn - 174cm - 75kg Dayne Zorko - 175cm - 76kg Brendon Matera - 175cm - 65kg Dion Prestia - 175cm - 82kg Shannon Byrnes - 175cm - 77kg Robin Nahas - 176cm - 72kg Steven Milne - 176cm - 83kg Cyril Rioli - 177cm - 80kg Aaron Davey - 177cm - 74kg Tom Coach - 177cm - 79kg James Magner - 178cm - 82kg
  2. Found this old article from 2011. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/118544/default.aspx

    Both MD Picks?

The general consensus is that GWS wont bid on Viney if we offer pick 3 but might bid on Viney if we offer pick 4. Of course it is all guess work by everyone on here and revolves around Gold coast giving up pick 2 for a mini draft pick. (Therfore not being able to bid on Viney) Of course officially f/s bidding is done before trade week and therefore we would need to meet with GWS & GC and discuss this trade before that point in time. There is a hole heap of holes in the plan which is why a lot of people are confused or simply don't get it.
  4. i like it how average now means below average. when did this happen? Back in my day average bloke implied you were a normal person.
  5. Form is everything on Demonland. If you are out of form then very few people on here will stick by you. Regardless if you have been a good loyal player in the past or not. Such is demonland. Moloney plays like he has O.P. Tries his guts out but his body wont let him.
  6. Keep the season the length it is. Add more player spaces to teams lists. Cap players at 20 games per year.
  7. He should be begging the club to be on the permission to train list over pre-season.
  8. I know what you mean. I find it really annoying around this time of year when most of the message boards and even newspapers and filled with rubbish. Over the years I have learn't not too let it get to me. If I don't like a topic I open it and read the first post and then close it and move onto the next one. If you take the time to post in the topic you will find yourself getting more upset as you have devoted too much time to it. And besides. We are having the year from hell. People need something to talk about. For the record, I hope the club makes him an offer but would be amazed if he considered moving here. That's the last ill say on this topic!
  9. Toy is looking more and more likely to come back to Victoria at the end of the season. He was highly rated as a junior but has done practically nothing while at the Suns. He could end up being involved in a deal with Caddy, especially as GC have to decrease their list size.
  10. Lack of senior players? Yes, if you mean lack of good players around 23 - 27 years old. It's unacceptable to come out of the 2003 - 2007 drafts with Colin Sylvia, James Frawley, Nathan Jones and Colin Garland as the only things to show for it. We are still paying the price for poor development from back years ago. But yes, blame it on the guy who has been here for less than 12 months if it makes you feel better.
  11. We had a red one. AFL told us we needed a white one. They didn't say we had to replace the red one. It was Schwabs decision not to have a 2nd Red clash strip. A red clash strip would have been better than a white one yesterday. I see others point of view that our original would have been a better option.
  12. Why dont you read my post again. I said I would like to have a second clash strip which was mostly red. I said nothing about replacing the white clash strip with a red one.
  13. I would like to have a mainly red strip with a touch of blue. We could use it against the Blues, Saints, Pies. Would it be too much to have 2 clash strips?
  14. I thought it was a poor game from Howe today. Needs to impact the game more. 2nd year players are allowed to have poor games.... Green and Moloney however.
  15. Rubbish. That is complete rubbish. Michael Johnson has pinged his hammy. Usain Bolt has pinged his hammy. Do you think these guys were at sub-par level fitness? On your bike mate.
  16. Pinged a hammy or re-aggravated a groin injury. What's the difference? You still cheered an injury.
  17. We can get both at the same time. Our development has been shizen. Lets further improve our coaching pannel as well as midfield with drafting and development. It's not like we can only focus on one.
  18. i would rather Ratten. he will.be available soon
  19. Whats going on with Boak? Haven't heard anything about him for awhile. Did he sign with Port?
  20. Sad to hear. He was showing a lot of promise 4-5 weeks ago.
  21. You don't know that for sure. So ill keep my opinion. But I respect yours.
  22. There is a very good chance that Gold Coast and GWS won't nominate for Viney. Even if they do I would be happy to use pick 3. It's not that its too hard for some. It's just that some people disagree with your opinion.
  23. No one will care if we win. The question is 'who will care if we lose.' I think it will be the final straw for a lot of people.
  24. I think a lot of peoples support for this club hangs by a thread. I doubt any one on this message board would give up on this club. We are all 100% devoted. But what about all the semi supporters? We need them on board. If you think the difference between 18th and 16th is nothing then good for you. I think pride means a lot. I think we need to hold onto the very, very, small amount that we have got and try to build on it.
  25. I don't know if I can be bothered with this if we win the spoon this year. We will move a couple of positions up the draft order but will lose 5,000 in membership and many could have been members will simply stop caring. No kid will want to barrack for Melbourne and we will lose another generation of supporters.
