  1. Billy won the flag playing for Glenelg U15s, and was rated BOG. He should be playing for SA at the U16s carnival next year too. http://www.glenelgfc...niors/under-15s Kudos to SkullZ on BF
  2. I've got an Xbox but never hooked it up, certainly not next year since I'm saving for a huge America trip at the end of 2012.
  3. JG just got seriously unlucky this year. I know he has been injury-prone, but a broken foot is something you can't do much about with conditioning. If Misson can minimise the soft tissue injuries, he'll be a force.
  4. In order of the hierachy within the club (this isn't how it'll actually work) Director of Sports Performance: Craig Senior Coach: Neeld Forward Coach: Brown Forward Dev Coach: Satterly Mid Coach: Royal Mid Dev Coach: Greaves Back Coach: Rawlings Back Dev Coach: ???
  5. Needed player. Love me some Jamie. Becoming solid in the backline and deserves a better crack at it in 2012. Best game was the Collingwood game, where he completely shut Krakouer out of the forward line and forced the Pies to send him to midfield to get a decent touch.
  6. GWS can't take him without trading, Tom $cully is their one and only from the MFC
  7. second format is better, but we need two ovals - might need to line people up to shotgun
  8. Another SNF article, I rate my brother's girlfriend's sister's friend as a better source
  9. I'd back Bennell in against the same any day of the week.
  10. He's younger than one, and if Brad Green can't man up and deal with it then he's got some serious problems.
  11. So all we need is a defensive development coach to work with Rawlings...
  12. I'm worried about his concussion issues to be honest, seems to happen an awful lot for a 21yr old
  13. I get the feeling Mick wants Neeld to succeed more because Neeld really is Malthouse's protege and was being groomed by Malthouse, whereas FIGJAM was forced upon him by the Pies and became the successor without Malthouse wanting it.
  14. FIGJAM vs Rocket, I want ringside seats
  15. Next year should be the big one for JW, both figureatively and literally. He was already becoming a threat, but with some extra muscle on him the big forward things he tries (pushing players out of a contest etc) will really come off. Exciting times ahead.
  16. Lots of thanks to you too Andy for taking time out of your life to maintaining this amazing site.
  17. This is what I was thinking and in particular targeted individual midfield performance over the last two games, rather than just yesterday. Collingwood barely got away with the prelim, and with the exception of Pendlebury their midfield did have at least one average game.
  18. big whiff of bulltish about it, I'd suggest the only reason this is coming up is the 'oh he was a Tiges supporter as a kid'
  19. Just wanting to put it out there after noticing around the place that Neeld seems to have been the preferred successor to Malthouse at Collingwood by many Filth fans. And not without some evidence over the last two weeks either. Collingwood's midfield play was broken down after a while both weeks, and a few players struggled to get into both games. While Pendlebury was fantastic both vs the Hawks and today, many of the others weren't. - Swan - Great against the Hawks but genuinely struggled today. - Wellingham - Anonymous for both - Toovey - Barely noticeable - Thomas - Took til the 3rd Qtr today to get going after being awful against Hawthorn - Ball - Played well against Hawks but not overly noticeable today - Blair - anonymous - Johnson - lots of touches today, lots of clangers though Would the issues these players were having have been picked up on by Neeld and adjusted, where they weren't because there wasn't a midfield-watching coach?
  20. I'll fess up. I'm not a Kosi fan. To me, he's the biggest potential-wasted player I've ever seen. (Never saw Weetra) That said...the thought provokes me. Parking a big man down there until our own can come into play? Nice. Furthermore, it may free up our forward line a bit and make us less vulnerable to the third-man-up play, simply because we would have less of a floating forward line ourselves. That said, those who've posted the Tomahawk in here - I don't mind that idea either. In fact, I think a club that isn't Geelong would be incredibly good for Tomahawk, as he would immediately lose the reputation gain of his father. I'd rather him than Kosi.
  21. cannot like enough
  22. Winner: Geelong Margin: 26pts Norm Smith: Joel Selwood Crowd: 99,028 Key to the win: Jolly breaks down 1st Qtr leading to Geelong dominance in the ruckwork and clearances for the entire game
  23. It's Jagger Redleg. Good on 'em. Five mates, all part of a footy team, having a bit of fun with it all. Why not?
  24. See, this isn't like Collingwood v Carlton where the best result in my opinion would be the stadium being bombed. Hopefully Etihad too to make it perfect. Collingfilth need to suffer because it's Collingfilth. Go Cats.
  25. Just on Rawlings, I know everyone's jumping on him for not being successful - but he's probably one of a few assistants at Richmond who have been unlucky simply because they've been an assistant at Richmond. David King is another. Brisbane have been pretty good this year with a shitty list. Anyone know what role he was undertaking in Queensland?
