    Confirmed Rd1 games for 2012 through the media releases: GWS vs Sydney - ANZ Stadium Fremantle vs St Kilda - Venue TBC Carlton vs Richmond - MCG Others: 25 April - Essendon vs Collingwood - MCG 11 June - Melbourne vs Collingwood - MCG So there's 11 other teams we could play. Personally, I hope we stay in Melbourne for Rd1.

    YES! Don't care that we might be paying overs wage-wise. $3.2mil over 4 years (based on what's floating around) is $800kpa, OR down around that $600k mark with a front load in 2012. We've already got huge cap issues with being too low, so I'll bet we'll just throw money at Clark to drag it down. Great get Melbourne, very well done, I sleep a pleased man tonight!

    I'd call it a 100% chance of Melbourne playing GWS at the MCG. AFL loves that stuff for promotional purposes. See GC vs Geelong. I reckon we'll get them twice.

    Why not open him up? He's best at floating around and doing his thing, as well as being his most dangerous. Cut him loose - get the others around him to be more team oriented, but let him play something of a self-oriented game. Let him play to his strengths, let him fly for pack marks and take his magic moments, because that's how he's used to playing, and will build his confidence thus getting more out of him. Do that, coupled with some work on the defensive side of his game (his run and tackle) and he'll be unstoppable I think.

    I want massive behaviour clauses in the contract if true. Should be forced to submit to a breathalyzer upon request by club officials, as well as having to vet all media interviews with the club first.

    Can I suggest that it actually pushes Rivers out? Play Clark forward. Stef goes to the backline, his preferred possie. Jamar in the ruck. Backline 3 bigs are Martin, Garland, Frawley.

    Crouch would have gone top five? Okay, so he's playing in the SANFL next year for the Crows affiliate. Playing well, has a great season. They make finals. First final, torn achilles. 12-18 months, with doubts he'll ever play again. He wouldn't go top 5 then. It's a terrible thought, but anything can happen in footy. These guys still have a season of footy to go through before they start playing AFL...lots could change in that time.

    Or we're lining up a triple swoop in the mega draft next year. Look at it. First pick for JV (as expected). Both compos activated. Pick up 3 first-round picks next year, in a draft where the 'prospective' picks don't start until the 20s by the looks of it. Yeah, Crouch would have been great. So would a triple swoop including JV next year.
