  1. I get the vibe they're warming up to give it to JT to be honest. Let's look at it. - The thank you video to the members? JT - The front of Generation D? JT (along with Chipa, yes) - The Scully defence pressers? JT Personally, I'd rather install JT now as a 12-13 year captain rather than sit around with Green for another couple of years.
  2. This is what I demand. We can't have another 186. We can't get flogged by 10+ goals every other week. We must contest every game. We must want to win EVERY game.
  3. I'm honestly worried he's going to be MRP'd out of the game
  4. Anyone got the full presser?
  5. Nope, he can [censored] off to the 3 finals series in 36 years Toigs
  6. Just been watching his AFL Insider interviews. Very, very impressive. Seriously knows his stuff. I'm not 100% on him, but I'll get behind him. And for those who are trashing, what have we got to lose? We've lost a #1 draft pick and copped the second-biggest defeat in AFL history this season. Can't get much lower.
  7. Apparently, we has a coach.
  8. Time to lock them out, Vlad. Don't approve of you often, but right now you're making the right call. It's a joke when the players demand literally the TV rights in player wages, the biggest chunk of the pie. I agree with the rookie stuff. But the retirement fund smells of a money grab from older players who will, funnily enough, be retiring in a year or two, and the rejection of the pay packet is a poor call. Admittedly, I'd love to know what the median wage would be under that proposed AFL system, but I wouldn't expect it to be too much different. (AFL offered players what would amount to an average wage of $1.38million over 5 years, or approx $280,000/year
  9. OP here agreeing with your statement now that some more of the facts have come out. Incredibly, the truth is almost stranger than anyone would have thought.
  10. They brought a VFL-listed player?!
  11. Top of the line coach, knows coaching job is available, openly courted, declines to go to Perth and deal with the mess that is the Purple Club. Premiership coach, ex-player, offered five-year massive deal, rejects to stay at his club. Triple premiership coach, coming out of contract end of season, refusing to coach in 2012. Premiership coach, cushy media role, refuses to coach. I want to know why despite all the draft picks and all the [censored] that we've had to deal with over the last three years our club is clearly rated as not good enough to be worth a half decent coach and we seem to be destined to cop yet another untried assistant.
  12. I've decided that the AFLPA are actually getting greedy in my opinion. And some of it, such as the retirement packages, just stinks of a cash grab since it's the older players pushing it.
  13. Make that plus two, my brother wants in as well He might need to borrow a MFC jumper off someone though - he's 5'8" but rather muscular, so something that he won't tear when he puts it on would be good...
  14. Think there's still stuff about Kaspersky staying with the club tbh
  15. So Pies, Dons, us and...? (been watching other forums, nothing on the Blues ones, but Saintsational is locked to non-members)
  16. Yup. Would still be the pick after MFC's pick.
  17. Put another one down for me - my best mate will play too
  18. Doesn't work like that - it remains linked to the original club's finishing position i.e. even if GWS had the pick, it would be the pick after Melbourne's first-round pick
  19. Actually, we will move Warnock on too, so it'll only be one player. Hrm...
  20. we still have to move on 2 players, almost certain Juice is one of them
  21. So the 16th or the 23rd? And also, best seriously have the red vest ready for me, physio said I can play but if anything happens to it to get off
  22. Doggies would be worse
  23. I don't think we should get O'Meara for a few reasons now. 1) If GC are willing to use pick 4 plus their Geelong compo pick, that's instantly over the top of our two picks. It's becoming way, way too expensive. 2) The go-home factor. 3) We can wait and tilt for picks in next year's draft. Jack Viney is good enough that if he wasn't F/S he'd be in contention for going at #1 in the draft. There's a lot of talent by all reports in next year's draft, so we may be able to pick up elite mids later in the draft. Coupled with Jack and Billy Stretch, I'm thinking if we're going to tilt at a compo pick we tilt at the second one at the most.
  24. Anyone know, with the reserved seats in the Olympic, is that the Jim Stynes room?'
