  1. The footy dept are clearly qualified to get him fitter and stronger than he's ever been, but (I want to be wrong) I sense he doesn't have the goals and dreams that transfer into what we saw from the Swans recently. C'mon Col you have around 5 years to make a lasting impression at the MFC. If this year, allowing for a good run with injuries you're unable to become a vital component in this team then come 2014 you will struggle to make a lasting impression in your new team.
  2. Not going to expect too much from the boys next year, but, I am an optimist by nature. If we finish the year with a percentage around 100-110%, I'd take that.
  3. Agree, hopefully he can get over his injury problems.
  4. Don't know, he certainly looks good, if not him though I think there are some very handy players at our 49 & 53 picks.
  5. Goodonyer Deestroy All, I think I can safely say I haven't joined that group...........yet!
  6. Please help, been racking my brain, some sort of slitting or slashing maybe slicing, anyway, so I can work out if I'm afflicted, what is MFCSS?
  7. Those that are re watching and posting on the 2012 games, well done, I'm enjoying your comments.
  8. Find out the nickname his new team mates are calling him and run with that I reckon.
  9. Disagree, I would have been more disappointed to have missed out on Cam than I am to losing Gys. And I said earlier in the year, I'd only give up on Cale when he was officially de-listed well here we are and I feel....hmmmm......pretty bl@@dy good actually!
  10. Crawf, you got a bunch of us onto the positive reality bus, I have a feeling, as a reward, we're on our way to the wharf and you have an Ocean Liner lined up?
  11. Cale will slip seamlessly into a premiership team next year and will wear his Premiership Medallion with pride................................good chance Claremont will go back to back
  12. If he brings a degree of intensity and enthusiasm into training, around the middle and around the club, snags a few goals from the feet of our forwards, mentors our young midfielders and provides competition for a spot in the 22 then I'm happy, Welcome David, best of luck and give em hell!
  13. I've been ok with giving the Gys another pre-season but if we we're to land a pick that was around Jake Stringer territory, that is tempting.
  14. Yes.... of course, had forgotten about Greg Wells, hurts even more when they go on to win a premiership.
  15. Agree with pantaloons about Farmer and Woey, going back a little further losing Stan Alves and Gerard Healy was tough.
  16. I'm hoping so too DemonDing.
  17. Welcome Chris Dawes, really glad to have this trade completed and I have a sneaky suspicion he's going to thrive here.
  18. Agree wholeheartedly and to add if the core group of players were trained mercilessly this year to build fitness and tanks and this increases their effectiveness x% then we really can be quietly confident that the MFC is building a head of steam. Toot Toot.
  19. Could not be happier! Welcome Jack, I've a feeling we may be a little more attractive now. Very well played MFC, I really didn't know how this would pan out, but, with this they've nailed it.
  20. Surely this is Collingwoods opening of negotiation, in which our reply has been "definitely interested in discussion but will get back to you, need to know exactly which picks we have after F/S".
  21. That tweet also moved him up a place in the Twitter f#*ktwit of the Year award!
