  1. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/player-profile/sam-frost What might someone fabricate about Sam Frost? Check his birthday above, it's correct. And not that difficult to do.
  2. Just what I was going to say. He has some insane attributes for a key position player and has plenty of time to learn the game. I think Frost will be alright and needs game time.
  3. It hasn't worked each time we've faced a side with a quality key forward (or two). There is space for tweaking the plan I think. Just to be a little more accountable for a spearhead forward like Riewoldt, J Riewoldt or Tom Lynch.
  4. I don't think we have any capacity for 'new ones' to be torn. But surely they understand that the risk of leaving Lynch one out is too great and will put McDonald or Dunn on him. Surely...
  5. McDonald and Hurley down back would be a fantastic set up. McDonald hasn't reached the lofty heights that he set in early 2015 but the guy is only 23 years old. Inconsistency is expected from players his age and despite his current form, he's well ahead of the key defensive crop in that age group. Have faith.
  6. Essendon was unforgivable, but there were reasons for this loss. The short turn around, our inability to play Etihad and the way the Saints match up on us all played a part. Frustrating, but I can understand it. We will beat the Suns this week.
  7. In true Melbourne FC fashion, I suggest a duel at 20 paces, pistols only. Don't forget your canes and monocles, chaps.
  8. I'm sure it has been mentioned but WHO THE [censored] WAS ON RIEWOLDT IN THE FIRST HALF? Absolute amateur hour that was.
  9. Great display from Hogan. I was shattered when he missed his 8th.
  10. Most teams seem to do that. We (and Richmond) were extremely inept.
  11. One will do for now, thanks.
  12. Jeff must be an absolute priority. Close to the premier small forward in the competition and our forward line looks infinitely better with him in it.
  13. What a crock of [censored]. If the women can play a bloody tough, entertaining and free flowing brand of football at club level, why wouldn't they bring that to the big stage? This is just insulting to the players and the fans.
  14. He has a long way to go until he is the best one on one forward in the game. Still, I'd like him to hang around. Bring back the war chest!
  15. Probably the best Demon to watch interviewed. Funny, original and intelligent.
  16. 'Teammates including Jayden Hunt, Dom Tyson, Max Gawn, Dean Kent and Ben Kennedy were playing some of the best football of their careers'. He's only played 2 games. But yes, he is good.
  17. Disappointing so far this year, but last year he was outstanding. Hopefully he bounces back because I had him a lock in the middle this season. I personally don't like him at half forward, but we're spoilt for choice at the moment in regards to our starting 4 in the guts.
  18. I'd thought Salem had been underwhelming up until a couple of weeks ago, but now he's really finding his groove. Is doing some very nice things and I relax when he has the ball in hand. Also, a few players slipped over on Sunday night, so that shouldn't be held against him by any means. Dewy conditions.
  19. I'm disappointed to have not seen White so far this year. Was really impressive in that last game against GWS in 2015. I would expect him and Hunt to be fighting over the same spot though, and I'm loving Hunt already.
  20. A call would be better WYL.
  21. I'm just happy that Watts was fine, and Viney and Vince weren't cited.
  22. You can't know that for sure. Maybe he was genuinely remorseful and felt so bad that he needed to call the presser to alleviate his guilt? Didn't seem like the latter though.
  23. I'd say in terms of career achievements, they're now virtually neck and neck. This year will be a good one to compare them. Wines isn't having as much as an impact, but is coming off injuries. Interesting comparison.
  24. Maybe even this week, though probably not. There is only a 5 day break between the matches, so I think we could end up seeing a few changes depending on how the players recover.
  25. Petracca for Brayshaw could be the way to go. ANB must be very close. In for Salem if he doesn't pull up?
