Tom McDonald
He was hitting some form at the end of 2019 with 10 goals in the last 3 games, then went down with that meniscus tear. I know virtually nothing about long term impacts and so forth but surely that knee injury has had a long lasting effect on him and is hampering his movement. Does it get better?

Farewell Braydon Preuss
I don't think this is too dissimilar to when Nankervis was traded from Sydney to Richmond. He was a ready made ruck who just wasn't getting the opportunities. He went for a third rounder, so if we ended up with a second rounder for Preuss we'd be doing very well.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Any club in need of an experienced key forward must be looking at Brown. I'd be taking him in a heartbeat if the price is right.

Is Richardson really on a 5 year contract? That's ludicrous if true.- Tom McDonald
Thin Metal Jacket! Was that the slightly less impactful sequel to Full Metal Jacket?- Jack Watts Retires
That goal sends shivers down my spine and will always be one of my favourite MFC memories. Unfortunately he was under extreme pressure right from the start, thanks to a poorly run organisation, a rabid media and us fans who wanted so much out of him. His resilience throughout it all was so impressive and he still managed to build a 178 game career, something most only dream of. Ironically he's exactly the kind of player we could use right now. All the very best to you in the next chapter of your life Wattsy. Forever a Dee- From Gawn to gone

May clearly very stiff. I don't think Langdon would have been an unfair selection either to be honest.- Delistings
I can't see it happening either but they may feel a bit change could be a good thing for their club at this time.- HATCH MATCH & DESPATCH 2020
What's the go with Jasper Pittard? Thought he was a fairly highly rated defender not too long ago.- What they're saying down at Napier Street

- Revamped VFL
I'm pretty keen to see how this unfolds but do fear for the stand alone VFL clubs. Surely the AFL will help with travel costs and other incurred expenses? Also following Prestons return closely. Fingers crossed they can make it happen.- Trade Targets
Doubt we'd offer 3 years for a guy who has played 9 games of AFL and has been average at best.- POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs GWS

Just watched the highlights for the third time. Rivers last couple of minutes were huge - the goal, then the spoil and then splitting a pack of four players apart to knock the ball back to our advantage was so great to see. He has a lot of go and is exactly the sort of player we needed out of last years draft.- The Travel Factor
I second this, and not to mention there have been a couple of game days where they are waking at 4am or 5am, catching a bus and then a flight, and then flying back to the hub to return to the hotel by 3am. The ripple effect from huge days like that can be felt for some time.- The Travel Factor
Always the voice of reason sue, well said.- Who should our next coach be?
We cannot afford to go with yet another untried coach.- POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Fremantle

Expecting Baker to play really well tonight and I'm keen to see him back in action. As for our season, I'm predicting we'll beat Fremantle, dominate GWS in a commanding display and then roll over to Essendon by 10 goals... my MFC predicto-meter threw that out as the most likely result (a 99% chance).- GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
