  1. Brian Taylor - [censored] for brains
  2. If they want I'll pop down to training and present one of them with my Div 3 ressies jumper... the coveted number 134.
  3. That would be a very smart move IMO.
  4. Probably my favourite opposition player ever but no, I don't think you can take on a 37 year old as insurance.
  5. As Swooper mentioned earlier, it's the nature of his position that his poor games are going to be very poor. He doesn't exactly have the versatility to play in other parts of the ground and if we shift him out of the forward line, we lose a dimension in attack.
  6. Jeez I had no idea Breust had kicked that many. Good on him!
  7. He definitely impacted a ton of contests and got first hands on the ball plenty of times. Just needed to stick more of those marks. Those two goals he kicked though were so important in the context of the game. Definitely keeps his spot IMO.
  8. Glad to hear that! A lot can happen in a week, I think we'll come out pretty hungry tonight and it'll be a very close contest. Expect our backline to really have the wood over their forwards. Midfield could be a worry though.
  9. So it's 100% still happening? I think I'll be sceptical right up until they bounce the ball...
  10. However not bottom four in the most important category - wins.
  11. Yes, we can certainly win a GF with our current list. We'll go deep into September and in those last couple of weeks of the football year, anything can happen. Regarding your points on height and key forwards, Darling (191cm) is shorter than McDonald, Riewoldt (194cm) is the same height and Cameron and Kennedy are both within 2cm. What we're talking about there is just a tiny factor in their effectiveness as forwards. Vertical leap, taking the ball at the highest point, timing and movement mean a hell of a lot more and Tom Mac is doing those four things very, very well at the moment. He is a class forward.
  12. Agreed, he played fairly well against the Hawks, even if he bobbed in and out of the action.
  13. Still doesn't sit right constantly being favourites ?
  14. In my opinion, based on performances this year and the way we've won our games based on our defence, the MFC's most important player right now is Christian Salem.
  15. It feels like the stakes are higher and higher each week too, seeing as we're yet to drop one!
  16. I was hoping this thread was to announce the return of Saty. Where is he?
  17. Hopefully he gets to swing that around in September!
  18. Awesome, think my favourite is the 1995 version. Love that we're now back at something pretty minimal. 2008 was a stain on our existence.
  19. IMO his first half was super ineffective but he really made the Swans pay in the second half.
  20. Christian Salem is our most important player. 8-0 weeeeeewwwww
  21. What are you trying to buy? I picked up 1x MCC upgrade and 1x guest pass.
  22. Also just bought this morning, no issues.
  23. The actual contract has no bearing on his reaction, there was always going to be a sensationalist response from Kane Cornes.
  24. Surely you're kidding. Caro is a mile ahead of Robbo when it comes to footy journalism. Rohan Connolly is the best, IMO.
