POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
We simply didn't work hard enough around the entire ground, the ground had a very minimal effect IMO. 99% above the ears.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Didn't look interested all afternoon. Work rate was down immensely on the rest of the season. Fumbled, looked uncharacteristically panicked, made very poor choices under pressure. Looked like we need the bye more than originally thought.

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
I see Bucks is using the Collingwood forums as a sounding board again.

Farewell Sam Weideman
I tend to agree with you, was just adding to Macca's earlier post that there had been previous examples. I personally think that two, with Jackson and Gawn rotating through is more than enough. If our forward line was entirely dysfunctional, playing the three of them in the same side is something I'd advocate trying.

Farewell Sam Weideman
Brisbane did it too with Brown, Bradshaw and Lynch. Worked pretty well for them!

What Number will the new recruits have?
If they want I'll pop down to training and present one of them with my Div 3 ressies jumper... the coveted number 134.

What they are saying down at Vulture Street
That would be a very smart move IMO.

AFL Mid Season Draft 2021
Probably my favourite opposition player ever but no, I don't think you can take on a 37 year old as insurance.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
He definitely impacted a ton of contests and got first hands on the ball plenty of times. Just needed to stick more of those marks. Those two goals he kicked though were so important in the context of the game. Definitely keeps his spot IMO.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Glad to hear that! A lot can happen in a week, I think we'll come out pretty hungry tonight and it'll be a very close contest. Expect our backline to really have the wood over their forwards. Midfield could be a worry though.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
So it's 100% still happening? I think I'll be sceptical right up until they bounce the ball...

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
However not bottom four in the most important category - wins.

Why we wont win a grand final soon
Yes, we can certainly win a GF with our current list. We'll go deep into September and in those last couple of weeks of the football year, anything can happen. Regarding your points on height and key forwards, Darling (191cm) is shorter than McDonald, Riewoldt (194cm) is the same height and Cameron and Kennedy are both within 2cm. What we're talking about there is just a tiny factor in their effectiveness as forwards. Vertical leap, taking the ball at the highest point, timing and movement mean a hell of a lot more and Tom Mac is doing those four things very, very well at the moment. He is a class forward.

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Sydney
Agreed, he played fairly well against the Hawks, even if he bobbed in and out of the action.

What they're saying at Westlakes
Still doesn't sit right constantly being favourites ?

The importance of one player
In my opinion, based on performances this year and the way we've won our games based on our defence, the MFC's most important player right now is Christian Salem.

A Danger Game
It feels like the stakes are higher and higher each week too, seeing as we're yet to drop one!

All is well in Demonland
I was hoping this thread was to announce the return of Saty. Where is he?

Retro gear
Hopefully he gets to swing that around in September!

Retro gear
Awesome, think my favourite is the 1995 version. Love that we're now back at something pretty minimal. 2008 was a stain on our existence.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Sydney
IMO his first half was super ineffective but he really made the Swans pay in the second half.
