  1. I've watched the game twice. Yes he provided pressure but multiple turnovers when we're trying to build a brand that requires precise delivery isn't good enough at the moment. That's been his problem since coming back into the side, so I'd be telling him to work on it intensively.
  2. Stoked to have Jonesy back and I think he's a great addition in place of VandenBerg. Expecting much better disposal and decision making, and to be honest I'd have dropped AVB if he wasn't injured.
  3. I don't think his ego has ever been in check judging by social media, but it's a good laugh! Good to see more of that on the field as he takes on more responsibility. One of those rare players who can back up the ego as Deelusions said.
  4. Time to put some money on Trac for the brownlow.
  5. 23 years old today... amazing. Clarrie has a very bright future at the MFC.
  6. I feel that at the moment he could offer a bit on the wing as well. He's such an exciting prospect ?
  7. Lockhart certainly made some mistakes yesterday but when I watched highlights he was involved in more handball chains than I realised, and there are some things he's doing right. Next week will be a big challenge.
  8. I think Viney has well and truly found his mojo over the last couple of weeks. May end up being a matter of trading one of Gus or Harmes at the end of the year.
  9. Pathetic effort from Scully really. Didn't even try and catch him.
  10. The way he moves reminds me a lot of Bontempelli, though maybe that's the hair!
  11. I was thinking exactly the same thing after watching last nights game. It's becoming a joke.
  12. Sometimes we all do I reckon.
  13. Oscar played really well and showed a level of composure that I don't recall seeing before. I know it's one good game this year but here's hoping it's the making of a great defender and he goes on to cement his place in the side. We looked far better with he and May as the key talls and Lever pushing off to intercept.
  14. 'That wasn't me, that was Patricia'.
  15. Gold Coast have enough supporters to write that?
  16. Baby arrived last week I believe. Jack was outstanding tonight, even with Oliver in the guts Jacks hardness and second efforts are unique. We should hold onto him and if it comes to it, entertain the idea of trading Brayshaw.
  17. Couldn't have picked a better finish to the game. Still bloody frustrating at times but you could certainly see the message sinking in! Really stoked with how they responded this week, huge step forward.
  18. Strangely optimistic, I think something might click tonight.
  19. I think May changes it up a bit more than he's given credit for though. The second kick in he goes straight up the middle to Max and we take possession but lose the ball at half forward, through sloppy hand balling, which then results in the ball coming back for a Richmond goal.
  20. First kick out of the Richmond game May runs out of the goal square, hits up a short target in Hibberd and we quickly slingshot forward. Melksham goals.
  21. I can't seem to find anything specifically on kick ins but his kicking efficiency rating is 83.7%. Doesn't help a lot.
  22. Fair point. I do think one of the key elements that makes our connect between the backline and the middle a little better is the fact that May is often taking the kick outs and often hits a target.
  23. Nicely summed up in one sentence: "What I'm seeing is three different strategies, one for each line and they just don't connect". Though I'd argue that the disconnect between the forward third and the middle is far greater than that between our backs and the middle.
  24. Unfortunately a lot of his hard running and receiving work is undone when the ball comes back the other way almost immediately, due to his poor kicking skills.
  25. That might be cash donations only, not including jumper purchases?
