I think PP doesn't have a number attached to it. It would go - before 1st round PP, pick 1, pick 2, pick 3, etc. Technically it would be the first and third player called out, but the third would still be labelled as pick 2. Might be wrong... and after further thought, who gives a f**k.

FAs can be traded to not dilute the comp gains of losing a FA. But you'd only get a very low pick in return, such as pick 368. To try and do similar with Silvia for pick 20, for example, is not going to happen when a club could get him for nothing. It's a case of get a FA for nothing or trade for a nothing draft pick.

Mini draft takes time to get going. Previous mini drafts had players nominating early, giving clubs time to check them out. IMO it is too late in the season to get a mini draft up and going.

And while we're at it, get rid of the stars and 13th place for a star on the back of the jumpers. Maybe replace them with wooden spoons?

I read the charges report last night. Aside from natural justice and conflict of interest claims, if even half of what is claimed is true then the Bombers and Hird (amongst others) have an awful lot to answer for.
