What a foolish comment. All of these guys are being drafted on potential. None of them have played senior AFL so it's all about considered potential. Are you saying we should trust your 17 yo cousin's 'inside information', a tennager who has limited knowledge on these guys and absolutely no experience in drafting players to play AFL footy?!!! Don't agree he's one f the best players. In the long run, Adams and Swallow are much better value. Roos could do much more with players who are focussed on the game.

Adams, Adams and Adams. And Swallow as well please. Both would cost us under $1mill. Dusty will cost us between 700-750k IMO.

I think Todd Viney knows the significance of bloodlines at the club. Hope he moves heaven and earth and wrangles us Zak.

Maybe it was Dusty that asked for 2 year deal. Don't know. And i don't get your last bit McQueen - they want him gone but will also persist with him? If they wanted him gone, why not offer him $300k knowing he'd get much more elsewhere and then they could talk trades with other clubs. $500k pa is too close to what he is supposedly worth and asking for, so he may well just stay and be close to their highest paid player. To my mind it doesn't quite add up.

Someone here mentioned and I think it's a valid point - if Martin is as bad as he is being portrayed by the media, why do RFC still want him enough to offer him a $1mill two year deal? All this talk of evening out their player payments and they still offer a mill, which puts him in the top bracket of players there. Doesn't sound like they want to cut him loose. Smoke and mirrors.

Agreed Tone. It's a risk enough letting Martin into our club, don't want to trade pick 2 for him as well. However, not sure we'll get him without offering something of the ilk of pick 2. Other options for pick 2 that people on here have suggested are Swallow, Adams or Sloane. Which would you prefer? By god his old man is one scary looking beast. Rivers looked shot tonight vs Port Adelaide. Subbed off. Not sure he has another preseason left in those knees. Edit. Actually, Scott just said in the post match presser that Riv copped a knock to the ankle which caused him to be subbed.

Poor ol' Riv. His legs look very proppy as he jogs off the ground.
