Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Moonshadow replied to Dee1987's topic in Melbourne Demons
He should go to Richmond where Phil can "eat 'em alive!" -
Sounds like Mayes' problems might be more in the mind than with ability, regardless of best 22 or 30 at Brisbane. If Goodwin and the FD think that he's worth it, I'd back them to turn him around. We have an infectious culture growing at the club (not talking about the changroom showers) and blokes like Macca who can change a player's habits and mindset pretty quickly.

I think there is zero chance Spargo will be dropped. He had a cracker against GWS and the bye week has freshened him up (admitted himself he is fresh and ready to go). Add a slight aside, how fortunate are we that he slid in the draft to a pick in the 30s. Was touted as top 10 pick before the AFL removed his zone from GWS' grasp. If Tyson does get up, it will be Viney and Hannan in for Kent and probably JKH, though I thought JKH did ok last week. Hopefully drives him to get back in the side. Good problem to have.

As his confidence builds, so too will his contested grab numbers. A lot of upside to this kid. Could be a marking beast in 3 years time

Nor do I think they'd part with 5 and Cerra/Brayshaw

I think it's time for posters to stop demanding the thread be closed because others are interested in respectfully discussing Hogan's hypothetical trade value, likely or not.

Ethan drilling deep into the multi-chambered orifice that is the AFL trade season. Careful what you scoop! #thetradewhisperer -
Keen cricket talent as well. Could be draft bolter http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-03/afl-clubs-crystalballing-cricketing-draft-bolter

I blame the au pair.

I certainly do not dismiss the past, but believe eyes should be mostly toward to avoid the footy equivalent to a car crash. There is literally a lot to look forward to! I do, however, dismiss ghosts and curses in the same way as gods being cloud fairies. Hocus pocus.

Loving it. Really good spirit amongst them, amazing what inspiring culture does to the belief.

I can't imagine Hogan or Tmac ever having that level of self absorbtion or disrespect. We got to win this one.

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL Qualifying Final
Moonshadow replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Got to hand it to Pedo. Keeps giving 100% and putting his hand up for senior selection. Would have to know his days on the MFC list are probably numbered. Not going to give up and leaves everything spent on the park. Kudos.- 284 replies
