Demonland Supercoach League - 2022
Fork 'em replied to DistrACTION Jackson's topic in Melbourne Demons
Be afraid. Gawnys Guns are in. -
Lemme say this. If he buys a house in Perth I won't be confident he's gonna stay.
-
Nearly went with that myself 😎 Settled on Gawnys Guns. Running with Gawn, Oliver, Trac, Salem, Sparrow and Dogga so far. Ran with Lever last year instead of Salem. Still might get a guernsey. I'd love a rookie or 2 from the red an blue.

Bang. Bang. Bang .... Bang .... Bang. Bang. Forken BANG !!

Yeah I read it too. There's some gold in there 😂 I'm abit disappointed I didn't post during the game for prosterity. But I was far too wound up. I didn't watch any of the pre match and even missed the opening bounce. Didn't get my timing quite right 😥

Most times I just need a quick hit over the slow burn. Best part is we can pick how quick the hit is. Time to kill .... Whole game. Time for the good stuff ...1st, 3rd and last qtr. Snack before bed ... Last 10mins of the 3rd. Sheesh it's late, better go to bed .... Last minute and a half of the 3rd. Sweet dreams baby 👹🏆
-
Hadn't seen it for month or so myself. Watched the last 10 mins of the 3rd last night ..... Twice. Still awesome.
-
I was happy, then sad and all of the sudden .... Deliriously happy.

Late in the season he stood under a couple hospital balls and copped knees to the kidneys. I nearly had heart palpitations with the finals looming. Had been our best player for the year as far as I was concerned. If we needed something it usually started with Oliver going to work.
-
If the opposition gets the chance they forken smash him. And he always gets up. Clarry's as tough as they come.
-
Early on they said he'd never be quick. He's proved them wrong. Even you look at Olivers goal. Both Oliver and Viney blast off from the middle into the clear.
-
Unless you listened to Hunt regularly you wouldn't know who TF had the ball or WTF was going on. I remember watching Melbourne and Geelong live while listening to him on the radio. The way he was carrying on it was hard the believe we were actually watching the same game.
-
The old man just got given this painting. Not his best pic of the work but you get the idea. Bloody ripper 😎👌
-
Oh yeah .... Watched that too. Saw that and wanted to win one the same way. Turned out ours was even better 😎👌

I'd watch a side to see if they break a premiership drought of sorts. Swans Cats Watched the Aint GFs. Dawks in '08. Richmonds 1st. The rest of the GFs I never bothered. Usually big rich clubs winning flags with cherry picked guns poached from struggling clubs. Never bothered watching any minor finals at all. "Why not us."
-
Yep ... The habitat of nongs.
-
Gotta play 4 qtrs.

Just had a read. Makes me wanna slap a bunch of those clueless fools upside the head. Little wonder it's Dusty this, Dusty that. They've only got one player and if he wasn't there they'd have no recent flags.

Found I've got another leftover habit from the Grand Final. Can't walk past a football without picking it up and practising a few "Trac Dribblers". Made me think there'll be a ton of Melbourne supporting kids who'll have that kick down to an art form.
-
Re-sign Jackson and we're headed for the 5peat we dropped in the fiddys.
-
Too early ;-)
-
Never stopped any-one playing then. Full leagues of minor competitions everywhere.

When I go to games I always have my sister in tow who's favourite position is behind the goals beside the cheer squad. You still see and hear the whacks and can be awesome when the big men are flying up close and personal. The game has become too sanitised. Once upon a time you'd go to the footy and anything could happen. All in brawl before the bounce really revved the joint up to fever pitch. The characters are all gone, the loose cannons who made the game entertaining. Even at home watching games on TV. Nothing got the family around the box faster than someone declaring "There's a fight!". These days I'm just content to check in on scores for opposition games cause I know nothing from the ordinary will happen. Most games are not much more than a continuous rugby scrum.

Just nicked out to the shed and turned on the radio again for 5mins. It's now 3/4 time and I've come back inside with chills up my spine. Mind-blowing game.
