We didn't "let Jordon go" - he was a free agent and hadn't much game time at MFC. I strongly suspect that had we known Gus was going t retire we would have made him a far better offer and been able to tell him that he would get much more game time. Hindsight is so easy. Clarry is our leading disposals per game player (though sadly and maybe explaining our dire position) number 43 in the AFL. CP5 is our next best at #50 and that won’t help for the remainder of the season 😢 Next, at #80 is JV7. No others in the top 100. Maybe that helps explain our season.

So looking for development from a 4+ year player is pretty bloody optimistic, and hasn’t exactly been a great back up either with taller forwards going down right, left and centre But maybe learning “the Melbourne way” of playing Jack in the pack in a crowded forward line is just what he needs to learn 😡🤯
