There was a list on some thread earlier in the year and we were clearly the team to travel there most, by a fair margin. I think it was Collingwood and maybe Carlton / Richmond who went only once in 20+ years. I am sure some tech guru can find it somewhere.

How about ranking it with the IOC?
  3. In fairness, chook, not just injuries but combination / clusters of injuries Petty Melksham Frittata Brown McDonald could not have been worse and we only failed by a couple of shots in both finals.
  4. Like so many ā€œrulesā€ in AFL, much is made up on the run ā€¦ which club, which player, what does ch 7 and Fox and Sportsbet think???? Not distressing in the slightest IMO that the club has not released any confident information regarding any conversations that may or may not have taken place between the club, a potential draftee and his family. In fact I am glad they are keeping it quiet (assuming that this is the wish of all involved).

OMG ! So a lease is as useful as a coaching contract with cast iron guarantee šŸ¤”šŸ™„ chookrat - nothing personal, but are you naĆÆve? Governments may have ā€œmoralā€ obligation to do things equitably, but have they ever done so?

I may have asked in another threat, but is a Tasmanian a risk given the determination for a Tas team in the near future. Will Gil / Dill formulate rules (on the run of course) that will compel us to give them our best Tasmanian??
  7. Q for experts - do any feel that there may be some degree of reluctance to take Tasmanians ā€œall things being equalā€ (which of course they never are) given the presumed concessions for the Tasmanian franchise in the next year or two - maybe??
  8. IF, big IF, we were to draft him would the reaction on this site be - great, they will help keep each other happy staying here or - oh no! they will both got home in a year or so? Optomists vs pessimists PS there will of course be the "both are duds - neither won a Coleman or a Brownlow"
  9. Cane Cornes will be telling us all he desperately wants to go home asap. Oh, wait, he isnā€™t from Adelaide so he probably hasnā€™t heard of him.
  10. How good would it be if they both ā€œretiredā€ over the off season. BT could try some more confined space welding or amateur electrical work. (Only joking - first sentence excepted)
  11. Wait for the next vindictive installment from the usual suspects. ā€A besieged Victorian AFL coach jumped off a cliff whilst in hiding from journalists hoping to share important impartial information, on a remote Indonesian island and was fortunate enough to land near a random surfer who rescued him.ā€ šŸ™„šŸ¤”šŸ˜”šŸ¤® ā¤ļøšŸ’™ā¤ļøā¤ļøšŸ’™
  12. And what position(s) does he play?
  13. BBP - sounds a bit defeatist. Finish top 2 (or 4) and bugger recent finals history, each season is a new one. Just win the QF and the next two. Easy stuff šŸ¤«
  14. Riv is becoming of my favourites - dash, courage, intent, disposal accuracy as well as distance. (A hell of a long way back but a bit reminiscent of Tony Anderson #11 of the 1964 Premiership team) Yes, if Bowey McVee and maybe Howes continue to develop, and Salo recovers his fitness and form, I could see him as a very damaging midfielder. Quick, evasive hard tackler and booming kick. The only slightly sour point in the interview (made just before the Collingwood QF of course) was his modelling his game on Maynard šŸ˜®šŸ˜®šŸ˜®. I hope he has changed that little bit.
  15. Didn't see any thing on 7 either. Lots of Collingwood coverage of course.

Edi-Asp was also the home of Stan Alves as I recall.
  17. But was Nick Riewoldt jumping on top of Joel? I guess that all depends n whether he was going to drown without help or not? Swimming with a dislocated shoulder can be challenging.

Interesting. Looking at JVR I would say he plays more like 196-198 cm.

Maybe Caddy could help him with this?
  20. Burning dwarves? Or was that before his time? I was reliably told that I listened with great interest the drawn GF and the replay between sleeps in my bassinet.

But can he carry your golf bag and give expert advice on course strategy? And of course rake bunkers for you?
  22. Yes but wouldnā€™t Carltonā€™s ARC officer be even better? Please, can we have both?
  23. monoccular replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
    Willmoy - only one??
  24. Do any of you experts have reservations about Tasmanians given the imminent inevitable draft concessions and tweaks?

Wouldnā€™t be overawed when he enters the G in front of a big crowd having done that already And interstate clubs would all have to say no as he seems to like his mum. Highlights reels being just that, he looks super quick off the mark and did not miss a target.
