I guess that is what Schache was recruited for. Weed #2 IMO but that is whom we have. "...Just a thought on Maysie maybe he will be missing on Sunday and Tommo is FB and Disco the third defender or Smithy maybe. If that happens then it's not very discrete of Our great FB to telegraph even a hint at this hour is it! Maybe my mind is too active. Time for some rest for the body and brain. Last Comment!.." Have I missed something? IF May isn't 100% then it may be worth giving Disco a run (with Tommo and Lever)

Some of the East Africans have been ok too. Alir Alir, Majak Daw, Mac Andrew.

2 weeks in a row sides get done by the Goal Umps

I guess there could be one good thing coming out of this farce. For starters getting one ARC that is even a little more updated than Noah's would be good start. Sending the engraved tablet back to Jerusalem for adjudication must have taken an eternity. -
I must say I see very little that Laurie (or Jordon or Spargo for that matter) offers as a sub. Very one dimensional. Can replace a small; that is all. Smith IMO is the ideal sub.

Steak frittes? (and I don't mean #31). Maybe at a French restaurant in Prahran?

Maybe, just maybe they want a look at Disco, who has I think only had 2 senior games, one concussed and one unbelievably mismatched. Then injured. or Disco - see above JVR has always been so much more of a threat when there is another genuine tall, to date usually Petty, with him. Hopefully Mac can be this assistant.
-
Yes. I think it very unlikely that they would name Mac and Fritta without playing them. And possibly Disco in for Tommo?? Smith sub is just so versatile. Maybe one of Fritta or Mac will be subbed out if no other forced hand through in match injury.

In the very unlikely event that we finish 2nd, and Carlton and Saints 5 and 6, how do we fit 4 finals at the MCG in three days? Or would the Saints have to play at Docklands?
-
But Tricky Gill does have a pretty hairdo - I can't comment on Dill's as I wouldn't recognise him if I ran over him. Well they started the process of ensuring Sydney's playing in finals at Adelaide Oval last weekend - just as they ensured Carlton playing finals the previous weekend. Any coincidence that abject failure of their precious ARC helped their favourite teams twice in two weeks? Maybe I am a conspiracy theorist after all. An absolute amateur multimillion dollar enterprise that cant get technology right that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg - ARC, microphones for journalists at press conferences just for starters.

My darling is in her 60s. 🙂 IF Brundy requests a trade, are we still (potentially) liable for any of his salary at all?
-
I would leave Tommo back, helping Lever and May to play their intercept roles. And either TMcD or Smith as starting forwards, the other as sub - with the knowledge that one of them (or possibly JVR) will be subbed out for the other in the second half for player management reasons not necessarily performance.

JT has been one of our finest assets. Picks them from nowhere. Howes or Bowey?

Lever Rivers ANB Brayshaw Viney Sparrow

Most would. Sydney ??? No Incompetency, or …. ? And guess what? Carlton and Sydney stay in the finals race. Is that a good outcome for AFL HQ? Just asking.

Nokia 3310? No. Surely Kodak Box Brownie. ..... alternatively, he plays and twangs it at the first contest.

Maybe grandson, or more likely great grandson. Reputedly Christmas Eve 1997. Never since. From what I hear and read, Verrall is coming along really nicely but even Max tool maybe 3 years to establish himself. 2024 is very optimistic but as I have said before, better an optimist who is sometimes wrong than a pessimist who is always right. Brundy may get a look at Sydney next weekend, especially if we win tomorrow and manage / rest Max next week.

Way above the padding. Won't waste my time looking for the AFL response, which will be "nothing to see". And the AFL have Sydney into finals, as they would like. Still, hopefully SYD will be buggered next weekend - tough wet game, flight home etc/. Papley probably injured and McCartin maybe (though probably not given the stakes for AFL Sydney) suspended for his high hit in Q4. It is well past time to change the rule so that wherever the ball ends up, that is the score. Through the goals, goal. Through the behind space, behind. OOB, OOB. If it bounces back into play, maybe play on?
-
It is very important for the AFL to have Sydney in the finals.

Kicking like a Melbourne team. Now it is the close one.
-
Just switched to Adelaide v South Melbourne. Commentary far worse than the Cat v Saints. Just awful. Derwaynnne cannot stop stating the bleeding obvious.
-
Surf, farm, apply for government grants?
-
They looked really slow especially against Saints who move the ball quickly.
-
Even better is watching Hawkins mouthing off at his teammates when it is not delivered straight to him.
-
Saints missed two chances to ice the game in the last minute of Q3. Two set shots from within range - behinds.

#30 Geelong should go for weeks - reckless kick in danger. Rather like King v White though missed the face. This sort of [censored] needs to be stamped out even more than "dangerous tackles".
