I seem to recall one club, maybe even MFC, who in a full preseason session were instructed NOT to use their preferred foot. Certainly regularly practicing with the non preferred foot (and hand) fairly quickly improves the skills.

Yes, the poor guy had a shocker by all accounts - I saw only brief glimpses of the farce But at this time he needs support and encouragement from us all (though not more senior game time in the immediate future).
