If you don't mind Umpire ...
Try running that past the umpiring coaches or Gillon etc and prepare for spin not seen since Shane Warne retired.

If you don't mind Umpire ...
also which frees are missed, though much harder of course to quantify WCE just over the top. A further breakdown of home vs away WCE games could be very enlightening. No .. they get smaller crowds and are probably less vocal and feral than WCE. A further breakdown of the for and against stats by umpire would be of interest - Chamberpot certainly appears to penalise MFC for every possible trivial pursuit.

Kent and vandenBerg
I hope this is not suggesting that the likes of Tim Smith and Fritz are more likely than others to break down irreparably.

Kent and vandenBerg
As some have said, it is an unusual problem for us to have. I would expect Kent to need at least 2 or 3 weeks of great form at Casey to come into the discussions, and VDB even longer. IF Aaron does regain fitness I still suspect, barring a spate of injuries to 'like for like' players, he would probably be asked to see out most of the season at Casey: if this happened and he looked like remaining fit then perhaps a one year extension and a real bid to break into the side next year. But, sadly there are a lot of ifs.

Fat Ed wants QB as a Collingwood home game.
My point was, in essence, that no clubs, (or at very least none of at least the Melbourne based clubs) actually own and run their home ground, so why should one or another actually claim home rights with regard to finances when two teams make up a game? All grounds are significantly propped up by the taxpayer, most of whom are agnostic regards AFL, so why should one, or other, be financial beneficiaries due to the vaguries of a rigged “draw”?

Training - Wednesday 6th June, 2018
Fantastic stuff. Great culture being developed. So, if Tim doesn’t make it it would seem a comp between Peds and Weed, though the more I think about it could Weeds go to “CHB” as much as such position exists today?

Fat Ed wants QB as a Collingwood home game.
At risk of being accused of being a communist or a socialist, which I can assure you all I am anything but, it is time to recognise - two teams are required to have a match - multiple teams (currently IMO too many at 18) make up a competition - no team actually owns their “home ground” ...... they are all heavily subsidized by the taxpayer So - after deducting any actual outgoing from staging a match by the “home team”, split the gate, or even; - maybe too radical a thought but pool the lot and share the loot, maybe on a pro rate manner related to the membership numbers of the clubs. As it stands, there is a perpetual cycle of the rich getting richer and the poor making up the numbers.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Given Dean’s injury history and difficulties in staying on the track I don’t know if he would have much trade value.

Filling the hole left by Jake Lever’s injury

I listened to most of the commentary and it sounded as if there were Casey players dropped behind the play every few minutes. Amateurish administration of this competition if this is not investigated, punished and stamped out.- Tom McDonald Re-Signs for 4 Years
Hope the club has insured his big toe- Alex Rance
That gutless assault will stick in my mind whenever that dog of a man is swooned about. He got off so lightly - after all it was as I recall only a fairly short time after Phil Hughes died as a result of a blow to the same area. It IS always a very dangerous place for anyone to be hit by another, even by what Broooose calls "an absolute legend".- Alex Rance
Can't say much more. But contrast this apologetic excuse ridden 'pseudo criticism' with the absolute bulshit that we had to put up with when Clarrie was hit in the jaw in Perth, and Jesse had his throat assaulted at docklands by a serial basher.- Wines Unsure of Contract
For all the grief that we have suffered under Neeld, I don't think it fair to blame him for this selection. And I have also wondered, and I think said on these forums what TPF39 has said below (though maybe not being quite so enthusiastic as his last sentence. Trac, Brashaw, Oliver >> Wines alone.- Tom McDonald Re-Signs for 4 Years
Weidemann reads the play well and certainly shows courage into packs. I guess the match committee have at least considered this. Question for training watchers : is Sam still working exclusively with tall forwards? The only fields I have heard of in that country were of the killing variety ? ??? as kicking boy??..- Changes v Collingwood
He (Trac) has been good but not brilliant. Maybe this round is his. Cameo midfield appearances is where I see Trac best option but mainly half forward Blasphemy. Trac has already done more than Col did in his hole career Just hope whoever gets the gig realises/ is told that someone needs to be back between the last opponents and the goal No. The architects of tanking get rewarded with a million prime time games.- Give us some credit! (Media reaction merged thread)
Frankly I dont give a rat’s clacker what “the media” think (if I fact they do actually think or in some cases are sober enough to think?) or say. And, as another has posted, neither twin is in any way likeable, ranking at about zero or minutely above on the open ended Goddard scale where BG is zero.- Filling the hole left by Jake Lever’s injury
INVHO he may fill the intercept spoiler rôle but disposal is a concern.- Filling the hole left by Jake Lever’s injury
Can any of the Casey regular observers comment on Joel’s awareness, decision making and disposal efficiency? Especially compared with the other contenders. I am coming around to see him as “the one” if his disposal is as good or better than the others. Size wise he is almost equivalent and IIRC his leap was good, ie “plays taller than his height”.- Jake Lever injury - Confirmed ACL
Trac did at least some of his rehab in the USA under the guru already mentioned earlier in the post. Seemed to have worked (at least so far MFCSS) remarkably well. - VFL Thuggery
