Darwin game dumped
Is it really too much to ask for both teams playing in Darwin to have a bye the following week? It is a pain in the ass but if the money is right, and this inequity can be addressed then I guess it is tolerable. But it is unfair to both teams not to have the bye following.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Which may explained the interest in KK???

Preuss could be the forward and ruck key.

I donโt want to see Freo advance such that the entire team can kick more than 70 goals for the season, let alone Jesse ?

Yes - I am also surprised. Still looks and speaks as if he is as dumb as #@*&^, but his content can be thought provoking. (Doesn't get rewarded for diving, which is a pleasant change).

So Mr Helium says it so it is true?

Watt?

Norm Smith - Athol Webb, Alan Rowarth and to a lesser extent Barry Bourke. All premiership FFs who werenโt big and didnโt always kick many goals. But I am not sure that this is the time or this is the list to rely on โdecoyโ FFs.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
That is punctuation, not spelling. (I didnโt have that hat on at that time).

Jayden Hunt
Jayden needs not only better disposal, but also better (to use a golfing term) course management. Raw golfers see the flag and try to hit it - wham!! More mature / composed golfers work their way towards it, avoiding hazards and silly errors. Similarly, Jayden needs to either pause a little and take in his surrounds, or just look around a bit more. PS: I hope and feel he will pull off those refinements and become a very good cog in our gearbox.

Craig Smoker was ok in his debut year, but then went off to Carlton as I recall. Maybe wanted to be with John Elliott. The whole list need to prove that - and make that 25 or 26 games thanks. And please name someone who was not.

Was that to check just how much of what he eats? But seriously IF our coaching panel believe that they can get him fully committed and fit then he could be a great asset. It could however mean that Frost, McDonald or Keilty may look for greener pastures

Now that would be a fantastic trade, and Tex could be reunited with his mate Lever. ? Trade one big forward with questionable attitude for another, one who has shown contempt for teammates even when they are playing in a GF together? ?

Perhaps "his craft" would be a better term than "trade" especially at this time of year :-(

praha - well stated. But actually we know bugger all at this stage. and MUST get the absolute most out of it Fact, or speculation?

Read Ox's thoughts - May = fat, lazy, poor work ethic I have also heard this from other 'insiders'. What has happened to our NO DH policy?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
A couple of questions, just for consideration. 1/ Do we know the exact nature of Jesse's foot issue? Has he / will he recover fully? Could he be thinking along the lines of "is this a Mitch Clark type situation (regarding the injury, not the personal character) ... Dees have been great for me, maybe I should get out and get them something whilst I can, as well as getting a nice fat contract from Freo even if it turns out to be only short term?" 2/ Do we know that "the incident" hasn't mentally scarred Gaff and will he be as good as he was before?
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I may have mentioned it elsewhere but i seem to recall hearing that May is an arrogant lazy bugger - would he fit if that were the case?
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I hope Gaff isn't mentally damaged by his recent misdeeds. Maybe his recent victim would be a better target for us, and a family reunion.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
IF Jesse is determined to go west (but why would a KPF want to play under Lyon's game plan FFS?) then we must demand two high picks PLUS Andrew Brayshaw who could also legitimately claim homesickness.

Thanks Cameron Pedersen
Cam never left anything behind in terms of endeavour (a good example to others) and gave us good solid service. Thanks and good luck in the future.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Bailey Finals selections can be horribly tough. You have had a fabulous debut season and it is only match ups that have denied you the preliminary final. IF we win GF match ups may well see you back, otherwise I am looking forward to an even better 2019 and beyond. You are already my second favourite #31 of all times and it is no disgrace to come second to the great RDB GO DEES

Was the said commentator sober? Weed could well take Jesse out for a goal kicking session .... classic smooth action.

I very cool and calm, and fierce for a little first year player. Smart kid. And Jeffy could well look at the intense pressure he applies, even when not directly in play. IMVHO he has already displaced Jeffy.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
No. Surely he would find it far more exciting to play the Ross Lyon game style at Freo. ??? It is fantastic to have four mobile talls who are really good even when the ball hits the ground. Gives us so many options. Any of Weed, TomMcD and Jesse could play deep forward, KPP forward (or back) or flank or wing. Such versatility.
