Last 2 Minutes: 88 Elimination Final
I remember the excitement, sitting in the upper deck behind the goal when GL3 snapped what we thought was the sealer, followed by the terror of that last thrust forward by WCE. Cant remember quite when but Alan Johnson kicked a lifting goal earlier in the game. Horribly wet and pretty cold at old arctic park

Not really much of a gamble at all â all potential gain virtually cost and risk free.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AUSTIN BRADTKE
As long as he doesnât get CP5 to play basketball with him ? And canât wait for Titus OâReilly to get on to the fact that âhe has a basketball backgroundâ.?

Father/Son combinations at MFC
From my personal observations, the Vineys win the contest. Ron Barassi Jnr was an absolutely inspirational freak, but I never saw his dad in action. Are there any here old enough to have seen Barassi Snr before his tragic demise?

- Post Match Discussion - Round 9
Yes....a great move. I must say he was very disappointing at the start or 2017. Thought that we had not bought well. But now a very valuable forward. I am good with that Hopefully deregistered by AHPRA for giving faux opinions last year. And we would certainly know all about that. Good summation of the positive changes, and of the "fringe". Kent seems just unable to stay on the track. I would include Weideman in the first group who have improved the side. CB - NQR is certainly far less offensive than the all too often used terms "dud" or "spud".- What Champion Data Think
Firstly finals, followed by first, followed by Flag Is that enough f'in fs?- Changes vs Adelaide
In case you havenât noticed, there have been huge changes at MFC since Jamie Bennell was on our list. IF Bennell was getting picked to play in Darwin just because he was indigenous, i very much doubt if Garlett would be picked by the current match committee just because he is indigenous.- Trac's Goal Assist
Take it further: perhaps believe the egg hasnât been laid yet, or maybe even the chicken who was supposed to lay the egg hasnât even hatched out herself! In fact, which came first? The chicken or the egg? Deep philosophical question.- What the Fritsch
I have just been back through this post - some very good talent spotters amongst our ranks. Drunkin hit it on the head, and it is well worth also reading the link in daisycutter post #34 25 February. Some have quietly rated him for many years. Glad we managed to keep him under wraps.- What the Fritsch
Yes ... he has come on incredibly quickly. Maybe being with the Scorpions so knowing who is who and who does what and what is expected has allowed his transition to appear so seamless. Any other 'hidden gems' at Casey?- Trac's Goal Assist
Team footy like this is something that has been sadly missing for a long decayed decade and is great to see. Team footy like this, the shepherding, running to create space, knock ons ..... part of the recipe for success. Well done guys - players and coaches alike. Now, just keep it up against the more skilled and more mature opposition teams we will be facing over the next month or so. Play like that and you WILL get places; go back in the shell and you will not.- Changes vs Adelaide
Melksham surely Nev IF Garlett is to come in I would be very disappointed if it were for anything other than relative form or maybe the necessity for a Spartacus break- Jake Melksham
I must say I was pretty disappointed early last year when he started as a defender - thought we had definitely paid overs - but since he has moved forward he has been a real revelation Hard running, hard working, team orientated and kicks some telling long goals that must be frustrating and a bit demoralizing to oppositions. It must be great for the young forwards such as Fritsch, Hannan, Spargo to have his leadership.- Confidence is the key: James Harmes
I must admit young James has (very pleasantly) surprised me the past three or so weeks. Certainly cemented his spot at least for now. Well done and keep it up- DOES VINCE GET ANOTHER YEAR
Surely you mean when- DOES VINCE GET ANOTHER YEAR
Rather early to say. Considerations: His form, fitness. Form and progress of others his junior. Progress of the team as a whole. Hopefully we wonât be in a position to even think about it for another 20 or so weeks, plus GF winning hangover.- Changes vs Adelaide
We obviously havenât âearnedâ a prime time game. Now Carlton, on the other hand .......- Luck or Good Prep?
Surely the answers are YES and YES Poor preparation and / or use or reliance on PEDs as we have seen increases risk of soft tissue injuries in particular but impact and twisting injuries are largely a matter of luck- Port Melbourne v Casey Demons - Round 8
Weidemann?- Changes vs Adelaide
Clearly you have not been to Alice Springs - weather and climate in a totally different world to Darwin- Changes vs Adelaide
A fine for what, pray tell? One named Neville maybe? It will be warm and dry. It is Alice not Darwin. Check the weather forecast- FIXTURING, HOW UNFAIR
Nothing at all to do with what is deserved. CFCâs run of prime time games is proof of the power of Visy paper bags.- 14 Quarters in a Row
Win all four quarters against the Crows and we just may start to be taken seriously. - Post Match Discussion - Round 9
