MFC Cactus for the rest of 2018
Bex (compound analgesic) Bex was a strong compound analgesic which was popular in Australia for much of the twentieth century. It came in the form of APC (aspirinâphenacetinâcaffeine) tablets or powder, containing 42% aspirin, 42% phenacetin, plus caffeine. The phenacitan was an anti-inflammatory as I recall that killed off kidneys (and thus sometimes their owners) and was banned maybe in the 1960s

Watts Dropped from Port
Being rested to be fresh to take us apart.

MFC Cactus for the rest of 2018
Jack Watts was instrumental in our win last year so surely it was his fault for not being there. Unless we actually win the flag there will be some who will harp on about this. Even then if we win by 10 goals they will say we would have won by 20 had we been to camp. I see they are resting J.W. to be fresh for us

Post Match Discussion - Round 12
Just a pedantic moment: Pedersen was not really playing as a key forward but rather as a third tall with ruck duties. And I agree that Weideman played the role better than Peds did on Monday, and is the future. Harmes - yes ANB - yes Hannan- probably a bit Trac - sadly, no

?? One key player injured at present, must be yet another stuff up by the club ?????

Melbourne at the tribunal/MRP 2018
Does that tossed Christian just have to say âmisconductâ to fill Gillâs coffers? What is the allegation?

Shaun Smith: Joel can fill Lever's Role
Options, Biff? And do we have any update on Oscarâs injury?

Petracca in a rut?
I donât watch that crap but he needs to start focusing on playing football ..... refuse all media approaches unless and until he puts together a string of top rate games Too many players seem to get ahead of themselves, and / or believe media hype that is inappropriate Presumably he uses twitter and / or Facebook or other antisocial media ..... maybe the players need to be told to dump these until they win a flag, then and only then are allowed to use them for one week and one week only.

Hunt out for 4 to 6 Weeks
Maybe this explains a lot, if it is not an acute injury? Hopfully, whatever the injury is, he will come back quicker, and hungrier, than ever.

Post Match Discussion - Round 12
I think that Pedersen doesn't work in the third tall forward rotation with Hogan and Tommy in the effective way that Weideman and later Bull Smith played. (Heaven forbid but were we too be without Tommy or Jesse he could play a fill in role there). Not so sure about reinvention as a defender - may prefer to try Petty early. I feel that you are being very harsh on Oscar, who hasn't been beaten all year and now you want to drop him because he was 'beaten' by a freakish giant who was the beneficiary of pressureless delivery from up field. Agree re the lack of leg speed, but dropping Melksham who has been (until yesterday) one of our most skilled half forwards won't be the answer. Nobody is going to have a flawless season - should anyone who has one bad game be dropped? So much for stability. Howe, by the time he was tried by Roos at half back, had already lost interest and checked out.

Post Match Discussion - Round 12
Agree with that - nothing much went right for us (other than Tommy's incredible contested marking, the best I can recall from a MFC player ever, Ox included). The bounce, even the mis kicks just went Collingwood's way. But we certainly looked slow of foot, at least compared with the Pies mids. No doubt will be looked at in trade and draft period, but not so much we can do right now. Need to be a lot smarter. Need to look at it closely, learn, and move onwards. Converting hit outs to clearances is our big challenge - needs lots of study and work. It was appalling to see Max's jumper pulled, and arms wrapped around him and either no free or even worse him penalised. The club MUST demand clarification from the umpiring department. It will kill Max's confidence if unanswered.

^^ Agree I have already alluded to The Phil Hughes injury, and the AFL were pissweak in their response to this cowardly and very dangerous act Bible bashing is his private matter: occipital bashing is not.

Casey Demons v Collingwood VFL - Round 10
VFL ex VDA has always had a lot of thuggery but if it is to remain the AFL Victorian second tier then the AFL need to get real and and facilitate better scrutiny and appropriate punitive action for these off ball incidents in particular. This is one big reason I was happy to see Gus ârushed backâ into MFC and not risking getting decked behind the play by some lowlife I strongly suspect that the realignment will see this disloyal behaviour to be a thing if the past Good observation re the max game time numbers by the tall defenders - I think I saw that Oscar averages >90% and if other talks can then it is great for the mids. Hunt will need to reinvent himself if he is to remain a best 22 lock

Round 12 Non-MFC
Firstly I certainly want to kick the daylights out of them, but Hard to pay anyone back for self inflicted drowning in oneâs own bath water. They only won because they wanted to more than we, who felt it was a given Time to move on and just do it âïžbecause it needs to be done

Round 12 Non-MFC
Good news in many ways Interestingly I didnât really mind the Cows too much until Weirdo Walkerâs appalling outburst when Lever left. Now they are barely above Druggies, Carlscum, Colonwoid.

Round 12 Non-MFC
Agree that this is grossly overused. Some of these ???touched endlessly looking at the fingers and so often inconclusive.

Does anyone who is clever enough to make those gifs (or whatever) have access to this incident? I must say I don't remember the detail.

Kent and vandenBerg
McKenna must be on thin ice? And Bugg? Has Kent's hamstring recurring problem been the same leg? How many games has he missed through hamstring injuries? I hear that JKH has been burning it up at VFL but where would he fit in at AFL and whom would he displace? I am glad that I am not the list manager. They meaning VDB, and Kent or McKenna?

Casey Demons v Collingwood VFL - Round 10
Is Goy Lok a new face ? Of course this is the one and only televised Casey game so I wouldnât know. Hunt Really Is at the crossroads Should he abandon HBF and concentrate on wing / outside mid? He would need to brush up his disposal skillls for that though.

Channel 7 WANT MORE GOALS!
Those are also some of my pet gripes - no perspective of the overall set up - those, plus the appalling inane commentary team.

Round 12 Non-MFC
But thankfully no longer to us Pfffft. Who would wN5 such a loser ? Fined this week ..... surely if there is ever to be a suspension this serial offender deserves to be the prototype. Didnt see the match nor hear the commentary but did Brooooose cream himself and say how brave Prancer is in this contest?

And he has still, it appears, had it all and then some ? Looks like one of those has had his nose out of joint a good few times.
