WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
A propos Bradtke and his future development - can anyone tell me how long was Mason Cox on Collingwood's list before he clicked?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Maybe he wants to be a part of success, not mediocrity in the case of WB and StK, and additionally doesn’t like camping in the latter case. Maybe Biff spoke with someone who knows someone to get his oh pair, or was that au pare, a job, unpaid of course

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Interesting issue: would any half decent ruckman want to play second fiddle most of the time. Also interesting is that Max apparently thought that Flip was the next big thing too.

Gradually working my way through the replay, I am more and more impressed by some of the little things (are these the so called one percenters?) with knock ons, bullocking, shepherding and also his ruck work. Seeing grandpa (the ‘great enemy’ of the late 1950s) and dad in the crowd supporting him made me, hopefully not getting too far ahead of myself, dream of Sam playing the game of his life, his true “breakout game”, being pivotal in an upset win against Collingwood. Go Dees. Go Sam.

The Ollie Whines Lounge
Water under bridge. ? over spilled ?. We now have the likes of Oliver who we may well have not got had we won a game or two more at that time .... just enjoy what we have now.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
IF and only IF Jesse wanted to go to WA, then maybe yes. He was only playing against PRancer that night if I recall. Gave him an absolute bath. Now wouldn't that be an irony, Gaff AND Andrew Brayshaw playing together at the Dees Maybe the original signed edition of "Exciting Footy Tactics" by Ross Lyon?

Farewell Jesse Hogan
What forward would want to play under Lyon’s horrible negative game plan?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Haven’t seen those clips since before he debuted I must say I thought that it must have been very highly edited but seriously one sees most of that in every game he plays now. A truly amazing phenomenon, and best of all, a DEMON!

bushy - you are as pedantic as I .... however he may also have nice things to say about our list as well as adding value to it.

5.12 for the season. That would make him [D Sheil] feel right at home with us ???

Isn’t sneaking up on the suitors the best way? re Gaff - there must be a little uncertainty regarding his response to recent events. Will he be mentally scarred? He will be targeted by oppositions and by supporters.

Are you referring to the player Gaff, or to the good dope?

I love Roos ❤️ and spot on here. Five weeks .... what, so, if the Eagles bravely battle through without their star mid, he can play in the GF? Utter BS. However many weeks he gets it must be enough for him not to play again this season. A certain ex AFL player benefited from our softly softly judiciaries views on domestic violence it has just been reported. Are you seriously suggesting that we should not have a defence force trained to do hard things when necessary in the defence of our country? Or maybe you mean not letting them back into our society once they have put their lives on the line because they have been trained to kill bad people? Just what do you mean?

It will be interesting to see how he spins this. Galbally! I wonder what he would be saying were the accused a Collingwood player? Well we won’t get a chance to seeGus fronting up to Gaff in two weeks time, but he does get a chance to show WCE what he feels about them as a club. Are you really suggesting that this is not as bad as it looks because Brayshaw ducked into it? ? Fair dinkum ...... AFL can’t get anything tight especially regards rule changes. I haven’t seen any discussion about the almost certain concussion Young Brayshaw has suffered. Must be just awful for his family. NO SUBSTITUTE which is why it must be reserved for rare instances like this. Became an eminent pediatric surgeon I believe.

I don't think that Houli and Bugg necessarily did - both were reckless, dangerous, but wild backward swings that hit their opponents hard - but Gaff was face on so how can you defend that as unintentional? 6 for the act plus more for the result. Very different - see above. Bug swung backwards, recklessly; Gaff hit him face on. I only saw the clip of the actual contact - was a free paid? If not then the (blind) team of 9 maggots (apparently) didn't see it. Agree - this could break Gaff mentally. Certainly not worth more that 50% of his previous asking price, and intense psychological assessment before anyone put a dollar on the table for him. And, maybe Hamish should be allowed apply for special dispensation and get an immediate transfer to Melbourne (or even Freo) to get away from playing with his brother's assailant.

Are you preparing us for Christian’s assessment. In play, accidental, good record, repentant, Downlow contender ...... (forget high severe contact) ........$3k fine, or, if suspension unavoidable for outside pressure considerations, apply the unwritten ‘who plays next rule’ .... oh, Dees in 2 weeks .... one week.
