I was immediately struck by the hypocrisy reading today that Tim Watson was all over protecting players' health in the debate over concussions: where was he in the debate about players' health throughout the EssenDrug saga?

Maybe the premise was that having him on our list would mean that he cannot play against us would in turn mean that we may eventually beat Norf. He seems to turn it on every time we play them.

I would see him as an 7.5/10 player. A good foot soldier but not a star. IF the price is right, yes. But not a must.

Given that Tom has had to play forward with Jesse's numerous outages, and will unfortunately probably have to continue to do so, we don't have another option. Yes of course we should look at Lever, but do we have enough to offer for him?

Don't forget too that his Brownlow eligibility has been protected. Maybe Gil knows that he is in the lead at this stage.
