  1. praha - well stated. But actually we know bugger all at this stage. and MUST get the absolute most out of it Fact, or speculation?
  2. Read Ox's thoughts - May = fat, lazy, poor work ethic I have also heard this from other 'insiders'. What has happened to our NO DH policy?
  3. A couple of questions, just for consideration. 1/ Do we know the exact nature of Jesse's foot issue? Has he / will he recover fully? Could he be thinking along the lines of "is this a Mitch Clark type situation (regarding the injury, not the personal character) ... Dees have been great for me, maybe I should get out and get them something whilst I can, as well as getting a nice fat contract from Freo even if it turns out to be only short term?" 2/ Do we know that "the incident" hasn't mentally scarred Gaff and will he be as good as he was before?
  4. I may have mentioned it elsewhere but i seem to recall hearing that May is an arrogant lazy bugger - would he fit if that were the case?
  5. I hope Gaff isn't mentally damaged by his recent misdeeds. Maybe his recent victim would be a better target for us, and a family reunion.
  6. IF Jesse is determined to go west (but why would a KPF want to play under Lyon's game plan FFS?) then we must demand two high picks PLUS Andrew Brayshaw who could also legitimately claim homesickness.
  7. Cam never left anything behind in terms of endeavour (a good example to others) and gave us good solid service. Thanks and good luck in the future.
  8. Bailey Finals selections can be horribly tough. You have had a fabulous debut season and it is only match ups that have denied you the preliminary final. IF we win GF match ups may well see you back, otherwise I am looking forward to an even better 2019 and beyond. You are already my second favourite #31 of all times and it is no disgrace to come second to the great RDB GO DEES
  9. Was the said commentator sober? Weed could well take Jesse out for a goal kicking session .... classic smooth action.
  10. I very cool and calm, and fierce for a little first year player. Smart kid. And Jeffy could well look at the intense pressure he applies, even when not directly in play. IMVHO he has already displaced Jeffy.
  11. No. Surely he would find it far more exciting to play the Ross Lyon game style at Freo. ??? It is fantastic to have four mobile talls who are really good even when the ball hits the ground. Gives us so many options. Any of Weed, TomMcD and Jesse could play deep forward, KPP forward (or back) or flank or wing. Such versatility.
  12. Hopefully McCartney can work on these issues. All very well to run fast: not sure he thinks as fast as he runs. Good coaching may round him off.
  13. Well that is good news: heard that Hogan is a nice guy who doesn’t eye gouge or chicken wing.
  14. Some say that it was drool or spit ..... surely it is tears ???
  15. Selwood ... and those at The Pu55ycats who have learned from him, are just blatant bloody cheats. ... not that it helped them last night.
  16. As a sixty year Demon fan I never ever thought back in my youth that I could even be happy for a Weed to play well anytime, especially in September.
  17. Yok. Maybe for a change WE could be the trendsetters....and Weed, Tom and Hogan are very good below their knees, very athletic for their sizes. All very mobile, all can relieve ruck ...... and whence Bull Smith?
  18. My heart, beating true for the red and the blue nonetheless, couldn't ' stand the tension. Still, the only thing better than thrashing Collingwood is beating them by a point, after the siren, and more so if it is from a controversial (or better still a blatantly incorrect) free to us.
  19. Spelling Nazi reporting in - silverware
  20. It would be a long commute twice a week to train at Randwick though ? To paraphrase the current encumber in Spring Street “not worth the paper it is written on. Can cancel without any cost to the taxpayer”!
  21. Maluski The bottom six listed there all have made significant contributions to our ascent into the top 5 position we now hold. Have they all fired together? I thought that they actually did their bit last week v GW$$, and if they can do so again this week it would go a long way towards beating the pu551es.
  22. PS I meant in my previous reply to raise ..... hasn’t Bernie already announced his retirement?
  23. All of which shows that stats don't always mean much The last couple of games in particular, they played as a well oiled unit in a manner that I cannot really remember (well, since 1964 anyway). It was very hard to pick the better players (after Max, anyway) and the 'bottom six' excluding the two injured early would make about as interesting a discussion as the top six. And both of these debates are refreshingly new ... rather like Bulldogs 2016 and Richmond 2017 .... and ???2018???
