As long as none of OUR players are harmed.

Real glitter or mock glitter?

The original concept was already pretty awful: this "revamp" by Gill and Shocking reminds me of the adage : "You can't polish a turd"!

Impact of rule changes
One concern to me is that some players will milk the 50 meter penalty bizarre new rule to try to get double or even triple 50s. It is far too open to gaming, and to maggotorial interpretations, andofferes far too great a penalty for what are often minor technical breaches The 50 (as opposed to 10 or 15) is already too harsh for many minor infractions The 666 set up will put huge emphasis on wingmen having sharp sprinting ability. Could be a savior for the somewhat out of favor Hunt.

It certainly is a binary world: Demon supporters, and 'others'!

What an absolute wankfest we have ru(i)Ning our game. I ceased to woder that several years back. Gil to dash onto the field on his polo pony: would bring both members of the crowd to their feet.

Nev Jetta went from delist to essential part of the team and leading AFL small defender after recovering from (presumably) similar issues. Hope KK can do the same.

Are Essendon not allowed to inject their players in the official off season?

And we have two Wagners who can compose his background music. Clearly yet another absolute gun ... heard it first here.

IMVHO Jordan will be “depth” by mid season 2019. ?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Will Max forever be remembered for what he didn’t do round 1 v Geelong? Overall his goal kicking was pretty good for a big man. Does anyone have access to his set shot stats?

With another full preseason Spartacus may well become the crumbing small forward (one who applies pressure and can tackle despite his lack of size) that we hoped Jeffy would become. And hopefully Hunt can with the help and guidance of our coaching staff become a quick outside mid / winger. He has shown he can win the ball and break lines; needs to brush up his disposal, decision making and awareness

Welcome to Demonland Toby Bedford
Smokes dope and rages all night at nightclubs. Assaults taxi drivers.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Ahhhh .... Sean Wight. Literally that clip brought a tear to the eye. Life can hand out very cruel hits. The work "tragic" is so often overstated in footy, but Sean's premature passing was so cruel. Courageous on and off the field, and an amazing learner and athlete. #27 would be well taken by May. A lot to live up to.

381 cm !! Do we still need Max, Bradke or Preuss?

Midfielders are not all insiders. We need an outside mid and I suspect that KK is that designation

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Jesse did not kick a lot of goals when it mattered most. Preuss and / or Max will quite likely spend quite a bit of time up forward when a tall marking option is needed. They would both be difficult match ups. The recruiting department obviously saw the writing on the wall for Jesse either this year or next, and felt that despite his undoubted talent his absence could be covered, as it was in the vital last 4 victories of the year, and remembering that was without the added tall Preuss to share Max's ruck load and releasing him forward..

Garbo Do you really think that May would hang around another year?

Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
It will be interesting to see who kicks goals in big pressure games, which is when Jesse seemed to struggle most.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Only 408 pages ? Given his refusal to commit which disrupts forward planning this is the best outcome although he will be missed when he does get on the field. The nett restructuring is a win for us.
