  1. Moloney is reacting to all the crap that has been posted on him here at the forum
  2. I don't give a damn what he gets, 0-10, I just reckon he took a sniper shot, not just a bump which I'm all for, calling it like i see it is all, personally I'm super rapt with Viney, I didn't believe till this week that he'd be much, now I believe and that makes me very happy. And I reckon if there is a round two Wojo will be the loser, I cannot remember a 17yo being so in your face before, especially a ompaloompa like Viney. Apparently he got told to tackle softer in the school comp he plays in, much to like and I'm on the viney bandwagon and happy for a first round Draft Pick.
  3. http://www.geelongcats.com.au/cats%20tv/tabid/7942/contentid/447241/default.aspx Watched it a few times, for my money Wojo lifted his elbow slightly into Viney's head as he was running past Viney-looks more than reckless - 6 weeks at least
  4. I was with you until the last garbage sentence, never want to see a MFC taking cheap shots, its a disgrace.
  5. Round 1 and that's it, I know Round 4 is the tribute match but I still had hoped for more today.
  6. +1 really like this, to the point that I will triple the number of memberships I buy to 11 if the club agrees to keep the reach logo
  7. A superb human passed away-terribly sad for his family that he left so soon. RIP Jim you were everything I love about football.
  8. actually I agree, I'd like to think that we now get 5 and not four wins BL, Tigers, Bombers, Pies. but remain scared of the dogs, hawks and saints. if we beat WCE I am deleting my vote and backing us for the eight. as for midfield we are sparse on rolls royces but I think Neeld has a plan for this, its not going to be pretty but at least we'll see more of the players as they trudge it around the boundary line.
  9. you obviously missed a bit of footy in the 80's and 90's, i remain very proud of the sides that got to the GF's and finals series.
  10. i just realized who Grimes reminds me of...please don't howl... Steve Waugh
  11. + 1 for a locker room, for the mods I agree this a huge amount of work. What I would humbly suggest is that if a match review mentions a particular player that it is linked or indexed to the player profile so that when you click on the player you can see an index of match reviews he's mentioned in. This might be what is planned already but it could quickly become a valuable living history. Perhaps if the writer of the match review could list the players with some sort of hash tag so that the forum automatically 'sweeps' them into the index, saving some work for the mods. Also can the like/dislike button be set up so that a quick summary of posters who agree with sentiments can be listed with the initial post saying 'morton rubbish', it would save much scrolling through pages
  12. ...bleh... inserted his ego into most stories, saying he's better than MR is not saying much, the floaters in a Werribee pond have that going for them too.
  13. Am a big fan of Clark, big bodies are exactly what we need. Well done to all at the club.
  14. I want Mick just to put it up Eddie, so does Mick
  15. I appear to be quoted but this was not my post???
  16. It worked for Sydney for a long time and they developed other goal kicking options that worked just fine. We need a big bloke now who cannot be ignored by an opposition, for a long time we had Neita and Mr Gorilla was never left alone and I seem to remember our small forwards prospering from having him about. I cannot stand the man myself and think he is a boor but if he passed a pre season yes for the help it will give our who are developing but not there yet. BTW i don't see us a rock bottom but it will be 2014 before we are genuine flag material.
  17. Jeff is the ultimate narcissist, ignore him, don't give him oxygen, in fact shouldn't even post about him, he just wanted some attention
  18. What a bunch of grown ups, need their ego's stoked by saying 'I told ya so' and rubbishing those who backed the coach, jeez hope it makes you feel good. Of course DB is gone after today but FFS get over yourselves.
  19. I really like DB but am reeling reading about the loss over here in Kenya, big enough for people to text me from AUS If we lost by 10 goals it would have been painful but not unreasonable considering the difference between the two teams, 30 says the group and the coach are not happy. Ditterich was given 1980, didn't get us much but pain. I would like to cut out the 'Barassi' stage though and move right into the 'Northey' stage please. Any money to get a Malthouse or a Clarkson - today cannot be ignored.
  20. Jaded and the Tweed Pig - you sound like you've been reading too much of Mike the self flagellating Sheehan. The more his pushed the happier I am for him to take his own sweet time, of course I'd like to see him sign with us but damn it he's just doing what he said he'd do. and the 'very selfish' i think is unfair and flat out wrong.
  21. It took me 20 years to back against Melbourne in my footy tips, and then I thought damn I never want to have anything but belief that we'll get up so I stopped doing that, and having belief doesn't mean that I don't think its unlikely. And while it takes extra long to get that thrill of backing an upset, I'm ecstatic when it does. I'm happy to say that I see us beating Carlton and West Coast. I choose to think enough little things will go right and that we have a good 22 running around-never forget the value of having your best on the park. Now in my head I can obviously picture a train wreck at Kardinia Park or against the Hawks, and while it's not OK, I'm not going to toss my toys out of the cot about because I know we are a development side-obviously not developing quick enough for some on this forum. I am sad to see those angry comments of those who dismiss us for four losses, I feel sorry for you that you can't find any hope in our new emerging team that for me has so much promise. I think our team will become as hard as we all want them to be and I also think Bailey has enough patience to craft them into a side that will become durable for a long time to come. I think Baileys patience will leave a lasting legacy as such.
  22. He was everything a player should be and I was so glad it was for us. I got to see one game of his against ablett and clearly remember his fist thumping it clear. Thank you so much way too young and don't you dare start playing union in heaven
  23. i'm glad he got rid of the punk haircut
  24. The SBS team came out to Kenya and visited the Kakuma Refugee camp where we feed the refugees late last year. Nothing fake about the conditions here, its like being at Marble Bar for heat.
