  1. Thanks delay in posts showing
  2. Time left please, in Sudan with tiniest amount of data, can't watch....
  3. Have given up on coming home, too many unknowns, and today the internet servers died at the office/guest house, limited bandwidth and no live game tomorrow, the horror, the horror….
  4. I thought they (Scott+Selwood) sounded desperate on AFL 360 last week, we got in their heads and they will be freaked about the Semi. No way Scott can spin this he was all in after commitments made last week.
  5. Mark Biclaves in a heart beat, wouldn’t walk past Cameron, Tom Stewart, etc, I would also find love for Danger + Hawkins pretty quickly.
  6. Single biggest takeaway for me is this. At the start of the year the team committed to team first football, and look at the individual accomplishments that followed. Truly deafening positive affirmation.
  7. A Hawks mate with board connections (and occasionally a pot stirrer) said the same thing, he is upset over the Clarkson dismissal and doesn't love the place anymore. Will be cheap.
  8. Anyone know of a good interview with an umpire about the pressure and public recognition they might get? Must be intense, and often confrontational.
  9. Max as Captain, everyone grow a beard for the finals, I'm not shaving anyway!!! The Fox Footy promo 'History is in Front' for the QF game is the best ever, anyone know how to capture it for you tube?
  10. A bit of love for Rivers and Jordan as well
  11. hole in one, with 1/2/3, well done
  12. Goodwin is so consistent with his messaging, Weid is not going anywhere. People aren't very good at listening to the coach because he is so dry in his pressers', but he is one of the most honest (if very subtle) coaches going around.
  13. I have mixed feelings about it, when a player is smaller than average, I feel like it is almost a protective instinct, it makes the tackler think I have to be careful to not give away a free here. Instead of half killing the smaller player, they are a bit slower on the tackle, creating a sliver of time towards disposal of the ball. I know it is popular to hate on Selwood here, and I don't like his cheap shots, but he was a target for a long time and found a way to protect himself, fair play I thought. On the other hand it is diving, and as such, cheating. So forgive me for splitting hairs, but I see two different types of ducking; the cheating Mathieson version where the whole plan is to get a free from the start and the Spargo type where it is more of a protective instinct during the tackle.
  14. Jones for either Sparrow or Harmes, I won't forget Dew's cameo for the Hawks in the GF. I really feel Jones has a couple of games left and is a proper hard body.
  15. To me he is a goal or two a game off Judd / Cousins / Ablett (a bee's old fella) but is par with Fyfe / Swan / Dangerfield / Bont and ahead of Zorko / Wines / Grey / Cripps / Parrish / Kelly
  16. 6: Oliver 5: Gawn 4: Lever 3: Salem 2: Viney 1: Langdon.
  17. I thought most did last week
  18. Hat Trick vs Threepeat is another example
  19. I was all set for WA but now see Adelaide Oval as the preferred destination. WA not letting immediate families in is pox. I think any venue should have antigen testing as part of the deal though and also no kids, mandatory masks and spray disinfectant stalls at the entries…. At the G
  20. He adds mayonnaise to everything, and sets himself up as an expert football commentator. Yes he is a journalist doing his job, you're not wrong, but all the extra sensationalism makes me loathe him.
  21. This is what I really want. We are far from it now, but at the end of the day, the most Premierships is true bragging rights.
  22. Not everyone is as smart as Lever, talk about timing. Probably would like a better game in Round 2 of the GF match.
  23. I am not sure if I can cope with another 12 years of being told about his basketball ability... a'la Pendlebury.
  24. Willing to bet Bourke Street to a Brick that the final team will be selected after the Friday game. Goodwin was very clear 'sore' players will be rested, but the one's on the field will be playing to win, a nicely mature response. BTW Sub text from the interview on 360 is they care more about venue than crowd. And after watching the souless game vs Adelaide there was no problem with team spirit, since we can’t go, I'd prefer to play where we go best and players get to rest at home. I agree with Tmac, May and Viney back for Sparrow and Melksham and Smith. But I would also consider Harmes for Jones. Also did anyone notice Garry L's driveby on Melks? On the couch they highlighted the kick into the stands, and Garry's sly backhander was 'it was his best kick'.
