  1. Absolutely, Weid has been played out of position is fit and presents. Smith was hopeless.
  2. Lever was terrible tonight, really unaccountable only lucky that Smith was worse. Let me say it Omac was better round one when he kept Darling in check. Smith had no idea in the end, went up with 2 others attempting a speccy and guess who stays down for a goal. Tmac all out of sorts and I agree he looked heavy.

I feel for Weids as he has not been given a settled forward role and is not a ruckman.

I dont like the shortened quarters. This is going to be a very strange season and sadly will be used to justify even more fiddling with the game.
  5. Absolutely if they help physically or with his confidence (and are allowed) wear them.

Sunday 3.30 suits me but at some stage we need to be thought of as prime time.
  7. Beg to differ, play out of position in Marsh. Runs hard and prepared to present. (Iron hands but that will come I think). Much better option than Brown.
  8. Brilliant idea (thread and classic games). I suggest someone write to Fox Footy to suggest they do a fixture and get some of their commentators to do a fresh track. Most people wont remember who won if they are old enough so it could be quite good.
  9. Is this a Monty Python skit? "Yes Dierdre apart from Sheffield , MCC and some bows and arrows we are..."

Hey Old Dee we may all end up a bit hermit like but always something here to put a smile on the dial. Hope you are ok.
  11. I think we need to be careful about this sort of information but quarantine implies has the virus (which is unlikely) whilst a lot of people are self isolating if they have any flu or cold like symptoms. No doubt any player with a cough or sniffle will be asked to stay away from the group for now.
  12. Any team the Scott Bros have coached, Hawthorn (will never forget), Essendon (same reason), West Coast ( same reason plus they get special umpiring treatment), GWS for being a confection of a team which has been handed the opportunity to vie for the Premiership, Collingwood, Gold Coast and carlton.
  13. I understand that point of view and agree he is not offensive but he worked well with the others and is really operating from the last line. I think his presence allows May to play more offensively.
  14. Ok I will bite. Agree on best players but OMac was good aand how can you break up the back 6 we had tonight? Salem back in on interchange.
  15. Mods: Will Fr ap be banned for speaking too much common sense? I am really hopeful that the balance in our back 6 will produce something special and cant wait to see how Lever, may and Omac work together.
  16. Probably the hardest start in the competition given the ladder predictions in the Hun but if we win both, lid off.
  17. More accurate than us.
  18. Kicking goals should be mechanical. At this level its a disgrace to miss so many.

My guess of the current banner: Jones, Nev, Max, Viney, Tmac, Goody
  20. Lets just pay up and move on, we wont regret it. Two years is too short.
  21. A lot to like from that game. When Weed was at CHF in the last he looked good very comfortable he will do well this year. Jones looked like he was enjoying himself. Please sign trac to a big deal this week. What impressed was we were even across the ground with few obvious shockers and more importantly we ran out the game the much fitter team. It became obvious in the last we would not be run down even as we went against the wind. The coaches have got the pre season right which bodes well for a decent year.

  23. I really hope Jesse gets the right help. My impression was that he had solid friends at the Dees who helped him a lot and I doubted a return to Perth was the answer.
