  1. Umpires' assistant is good only blind in 1 eye as opposed to competely blind ,to be full time.
  2. They should never have dug up punt road..... look what it unearthed
  3. So much for my footy fix tonight, I was looking forward to seeing some of our boys in action - AFL's All Stars game scrapped. On flip side ... I won't have to worry about injuries.
  4. Hope you arent planning on tanking Welcome aboard should be fun
  5. 1 Supercoach : ENTER CODE = 242534 : Update : is now full 2 Dreamteam : ENTER CODE = 743295 : Update - 4th Feb - League is Now full good luck to everyone Edit updated these details
  6. Er poor choice of words, considering the topic
  7. be changed and someone but myself with credibilty to

keep it all above board etc.

If you like this so far I will give you the rest of the details

so we can begin to put things in place.

Once everyone has chosen their team for the year, it pretty much takes care of itself for the year.

  8. We have a few months to 'fine tune' the idea so its bullett proof. Anyone that wants to be involved MUST lodge

their MFC Team 1 week before the Season kicks off.

They CANNOT alter their team during the year,

The Person by seasons end that has the team that has

played the most games is deemed the winner.

By a need a MOD or yourself, is to Pin the topic so it cant...

  9. During the year.

I had passed this by HighTower awhile back, he thought I was on a good thing. I havent spoken to him about it since, I need a MOD or yourself to help make this work.

So I thought go to the top, if you like you can pass it to Hightower to help oversee everything is in order.

But I like to be involved, after all its my idea.

Its a spinoff (kinda) to SuperCoac...

  10. Hi Andy

    All the best for 2011.

I want to let you know I made myself a commitment when I joined D/land (Feb 2010) IF I was still involved after a year, then I would Donate (via Paypal) to help towards the costs of running Demonland. That WILL happen in Feb 2011. :)

Now for the main reason for this PM.

I think I have a great idea for everyone to become invovled durin...

  11. Well said Andy Well wishes to all the team to everyone for making Demonland what it is today. And not to forget our great footy club admin and the players A merry and safe Christmas
  12. I did spot a young blond kid selling newspapers wearing No23 on his back, At the time I was in the far right hand lane and couldnt get over to ask who his mother was. Then there was this Africian kid kicking a footy had Aaron Daveys Number. For the life of me, I couldnt recall one of those nights. I'll keep checking, looking around.

  14. Now thats more in keeping with the Xmas spirit!! Nice gesture! Bet you feel better for it. Let Jimmy tell him himself to bugger off
  15. This Post is pretty impressive.. for 2 reasons Some would say it would have been enough to just explain the messup and the solutions forthcoming to retify the problem, and have it on the MFC web site. But for someone - Tom in this case - on behalf of the club to take the time to sign up on Demonland and personally explain ALL the details needs to be applauded in my eyes. Should help soften the disappointment for all concerned that everyone is doing their upmost and beyond. And on that note I wish everyone a safe and Merry Xmas.
  16. Just 2 sleeps to go Sorry if this has been posted earlier Paul Daffeys; Top 25 rookies I'd be happy if we could get 3 he has listed. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/105913/default.aspx
  17. IF he keeps progressing and gets drafted (by us) He may have timed his run just right. One B.Green would be about right to retire, leaving the No18 vacant. He gets his favourite number to wear.
  18. That just killed it He must be in a bad way. i thought maybe they told him to lay low for the 2nd part of the season. Would have to agree, he didnt show that much, to warrant going to all this trouble to keep him under the radar. Too bad for him and us, Could have used a big strong body. But on the bright side, it gives Cook, Howe,Fitzpatrick a better chance to do their stuff as forwards, with Casey.
  19. Confirmed starter I was going to register when it came online for 2011 anyway. I'm interested to see how it works. so now I have a league - Do we need to nominate a league (private league) when registering. or do we get an invite? During or after the draft, I'm open for bribes I'm easy but aint cheap:)
  20. I thought you were being humorous.. there really is a Jack Frost (some parents,...honestly) Sandy Dragons - Bomber supporter going by his BIO ,needs a bit of work on his game. Looks tho he was overlooked. Really is a lottery for a rookie with so many and any number 1 or 2 could end up being a gem. I'm sure they have done their homework for our remaining vacant rookies. I'm on Tom Mac to be retained (shows promise) just seems a waste not to give him another season. I'm still hopeful on Scott Simpson Only because I think we can use someone with some vigour on the forward line Same applies on the backline, need for a toughnut down back. I havent forgotten, Tapscott, if he can step up I think he looks like he could run through a brick wall.
  21. Ok Lets go all out shall we? Jack-the-ripper If nothing else should be able to 'cut' the opposition to pieces
  22. Have to go back a long long time,,, but here it is. Based on Father & Son both having successful careers for the Dees. 1: Bob C. Johnson 1926-1933 Games Played = 113 Bob 'Big Bob' Johnson 1954-1961 GP = 140 Total Combined Games = 253 2: Adrian Dullard 1940-1949 GP = 116 Tony Dullard 1973-1981 GP = 108 Total Combined Games = 224 3: Richie Emselle 1937-1943 GP = 92 Ken Emselle 1962-1969 GP = 97 Total Combined Games = 189 I didnt include Barassi Snr and RD only because RD played over 200 just by himself IRon Snr had his career cut short (only played 58 games)
  23. WYL : I cant really remember a lot about Hawthorns' Des Dickson , I do know he wasn't delicate. I hadnt planned on maiming or killing any opposition players .just hit 'em hard, A tough back flanker to break open the play for our elite runners to open up the game. Grinter would be perfect right now (a slightly toned down version) He;d be lucky to play 6 games in a row, the way the match review works. With the influx of the new Fowards, probably could do with bit of vigor on the backline. A lighty bigger version of Matty Whelan would round things off. But no-one comes to mind atm for a rookie spot.
  24. Kinda hoped someone could come up with a 'smokey' either local footy that some young player had been blitzing, or a few in the VFL worth a shot. Someone could have bragging rights if he/she nailed 1 or 2 we rookied. I had a couple from Casey Scorps. ie 1: Kyle Matthews (until KO'd) 2: Fieldsend Now that our ND picks have been sorted. My thoughts are we probably could use a tough Back Flanker 'in and under' that can protect the runners out of the backline. Thoughts on this option?
  25. Ex Hawk Robert Campbell? AFAIK has nominated for this years (2010) ND. Could be a bit proppy - originally retired with a knee injury.
