I am one of the many who have just forked out the ghastly $642 for my MCC renewal.. but I ask for a friend.. what is the deal with general public tickets in non-MCC areas for Friday night? I can't for the life of me find them for sale. Cheers.

who is another who has been ridiculously overrated here - did absolutely zilch for about the last 10 weeks -
Yep. Leading goalkicker was C.Dawes with 17 FFS Had we had Clark he might have kicked 60 and we probably would have won 6 more matches Sneaky 30 or 40 from Hogan wouldn't have hurt either
-
he sucked a55 at the MFC and nobody gave a rats when he was moved on something tells me if he was still with us he would still be rubbish if you want to moan about list mgmt why don't you look at Vince for Sylvia oh no we can't look levelheadedly at the issue can we

What are you, high? Of course he is worth that. He is a proven A-grade KPF, there are about 10 players in the whole comp that can make that claim - in fact, at the time of his injury he was ranked 7th in the comp for goals-per-game Perhaps you would rather use the pick on another Jordan Gysberts? Biggest individual MFC success story of 2014

Dude! He kicked 7 goals in those games to finish with 16 which was 2nd most at the club -

He is a potato. He plays hard, which is good, but it's out of compensation for his complete lack of skill and class Demonland has always liked these types, as we lose week after week -
that's called being a troll and nobody around here appreciates it

why doesn't the media s--t all over North for this, this is tanking in a far more more blatant way than what we were accused of oh sorry is it only a bad thing to do if you are a truly carp side pathetic -

Bail+Riley+Terlich= pure class

what we need is a good twenty or so first round draft picks including half-a-dozen in the top 5 of the draft. That is a complete overhaul of quality talent. oh wait... we already received that over the last 7 years and it amounted to zero
-
We don't deserve a first round pick for him, he is garbage. Last week was not an anolomy for him, t was a disgracefully inept game of football, offered no value whatsoever. The Hawks got pick 19 or whatever for Franklin and he is maybe, apart from Ablett, the best player of the last decade. Frawley doesn't deserve to lace his boots. Same old garbage at Melbourne - we had a player in his 3rd year (2010) be AA defender, we all thought this guy would be an elite key defender lynchpin for a decade, fact is that he hasn't gone near that form in the 4 seasons that have passed since- Why? You can't say that it has anything to do with FA because that only applies to the last year. Just another victim of whatever it is that they put in the water supply at MFCHQ that makes players reach their (modest) peak in their first 2-3 years and then never progress, and often go backwards in their development. Nathan Jones remains the only exception to this rule over the last 7 years and even he has never become a true A grader. Christ even Cale Morton looked a goer in his first year or two, I remember he got nearly 100 touches in 3 weeks in his first year. Then he ended up being one of the biggest spuds you could ever have the misfortune of watching. Effing rubbish club we have here. I suppose it is a combination of a loser's culture and an underfunded footy department resulting in our proven inability to develop players, Frawley is just another in this long long long lineage.

sounds like utter BS to me

come on mate.. just browse the board back to the middle part of the year, everyone including me was pretty happy with how the Roos era was taking shape. It is a different side over the last 4-8 weeks and I don't know why
-
Yep just ask Dean Bailey how good Morton will magically become if we just name him in the side 50 times

Only one way for the players to truly apologise (& improve)
Curry & Beer replied to TGR's topic in Melbourne Demons
well not really mate.. isn't it standard practice for 4 weeks off a year for a salary gig? This is nowhere near enough for human beings not to go insane in the first place, but 2 weeks off? That's madness. These boys have it pretty good but remeber a weekly routine basically consists of running your arse off, lifting weights, watching your diet, no partying etc and these lads are in their twenties. No use getting the players in an adversarial mindset towards the coach and club -
It's not a bad point There have been matches this year when we were brilliant, how can (nearly) the same 22 come out with the garbage of the latter part of this season

you can't just ask them to work 50 weeks a year -
You really can't figure out that talking about some other bloke at another club that we didn't recruit last year is a completely subjective and completely pointless exercise If you really think that using #2 to get Tyson and Salem was a bad move, and that we should not so something similar this year, then you're a fool and I am too busy to discuss this with you Of all the top5 picks we've had at our disposal in the last 7 years (Watts, scully, trengove, morton, mclean, sylvia) trading one for Tyson was the only decent return we have had
