Did Dunn actually play on any marking forwards? If so, I'll give the 1-on-1 stat some credence. He should towel up the likes of Thomas and Hams everytime at his height / weight.

The Voss kiss of death. Part of the reason all the fringe kids have bailed. Lack of opportunity at senior level and no reward for NEAFL for unless one of the chosen few. Think Longer, Polec, Kanrezis.

Love the thread, a bit more detail for myself. Played uniors in Vic and S.A before moving to Qld where I started playing senior football for the old West Brisbane. Hightlight was no doubt playing in the 1996 QAFL premiership before the club folded in 98. Also did preseason with the Bears in 1990. Great memories of Norm Dare giving me a serve for not going to training when I hadn't even been told to come down. Probably should have known they were not that keen when finally turning up for training they told the property steward not to get any gear for me. Move down to Vic and played at Springvale. Missed out in the 98 flag being named an emergency. Great club with some amazing players. Played some more QAFL on returning to Qld before a couple of years back in Melbourne where I had a kick with Murrumbeena. Managed to win 3 games in 2 years which was a bit of a struggle after coming from some pretty strong clubs. For the last 6 years or so I have been coaching at Queensland University and the state 18's while also sitting on the UQ committee. Been great seeing the club grow to the point where we have gone up to the QAFL in 2014. Was midfield coach in 2011 for Qld 18's after never playing midfield in my life. Gave it a crack but wasn't invited back in 2012.....Been running the IT and rotations for the past two national championships which has been very interesting. Its been quite a ride

Doesn't his old man live in West Sydney? I'm with Belzebubsy, let GWS commit in the PSD to him then chase Conca or another off contact mid hard. Could be a chance to combine with free agency and pick up 2 x mids.

I wouldn't be surprised if Roos tries to turn him into a Mundy type mid. I see our forward and back tall stocks as being adequate and Roos has stated a 3 talls at each end and the rest running through the midfield. Combine this with his stated wish of midfield depth and I think it's def possible it will happen.

I like the idea but we are screaming out for mids who can get the ball. Taking Grimes out of the middle and replacing him with McKenzie won't help. If Viney and Grimes can rack up 20 each this week hopefully we may go some way towards lowering the heat on our defence. I'd then be more inclined to bring in Struass next week.

So far infront of Choco or Eade for mine it is not funny. If no Roos the job is his if he wants it. Think we would be the type of guy that has an ego that could handle being the alternate.
