Mum just told me of the radio banter. They say they haven't seen a team play this bad so consistently in a long, long time. Whether that means 12 years going back to Fitzroy or not, I don't know, but they've utterly lost the plot. This team has the ability to literally cripple the Melbourne FC.

Turned it off. I have better things to do then watch a hack of a team coached by a hack of a coach. Bailey is gone in a few weeks. Mark my words. They're playing as bad, if not worse, than Fitzroy in 96. Our list is better than Essendon's and better than Carlton's, yet we can't implement a simple gameplan. I hate the "new coach, new gameplan" excuse. How many times do we see a new coach start off with an 0-5 record, which will blow out to god knows what? He's gone.

Average first quarter. Back-line held firm. Mid-field fell apart in the center. No one to kick to up forward. Story of the year. I'm starting to think our backline is A LOT better then what people give it credit for. They have been under pressure constantly all year.

I'd say WC are playing worse, but we are a worse team, based on our list compared to theirs. They'd beat us by 5-6 goals if we played them tomorrow, even based on current form.

It must've been very hard for a young boy/man to grow up in a situation like that without the support of his father. Kudos to Nathan for making it so far and today being one of our on-field leaders and backline stalwarts. I'm sure his father is as proud as ever.

The both of them are playing low on confidence. They are too young to be legitimate leaders like Neitz, and don't have the support around them. I think the both of them have done well considering the circumstances.

New clubs = more sponsorship = large TV rights = more money for AFL clubs. I mean seriously, who wouldn't vote for their inclusion?

Neitz to Wilson. Character "assassination" on Holland. Wilson trying to justify her comments. Said for him to sue the club was wrong. Neitz is trying to stick up for him. Ripping into Caroline. Says that he is a great role-model, but the media is turning into him. The media call for players to be roll-models, then when there is one, they blow up untrue character studies and personalities.

He just ripped the MCC in as nice a way as possible. In other words, the MCC doesn't do enough to rectify the relationship between the two clubs, and Melbourne does more for the MCC then the MCC does for Melbourne. Also said we need to stand on our own two feet, but need the support of the MCC. Pretty much what he said.

I guess I'd be a Gold Coast Demons member. The truth is, either the Melbourne Demons or North Melbourne Kangaroos won't be around in 5 years. My guess is North, with Melbourne having a complete make-over and rebranding. But I'd support a GC move, as long as it's 100% in the best interest of the club and the absolute final option.

This is a gameplan that is flawless with the right players. We don't have the right players now. We need to implement this gameplan now, draft/sign well, and hope for the best. I have faith in this gameplan. It worked at Port and is working at Geelong.

Anyone see what was on the news tonight? (7 or 9) Mum told me there was something on the news about speculation about Melb moving to the GC. Can't find anything on it though and my mum doesn't know what's going on 99.9% of the time.

I really, really hope that's what happens. Players like Green, Moloney and Wheatley should be traded to get us more first round picks. As many as possible, like Hawthorn a few years back. We all know where they are now, and where they're going.

I know what it is. Garry Lyon is coming out of retirement, Neitz will play at CHB next week and we'll get out first win of the year after Lyon kicks 9.2.
