Green should have been playing out of the goal square from his first game. I blame Daniher for his development as a wing player.

You should put in a VHS of a game from 1996 and watch that. Compare it to the game today (football in general, not the Melb Carl game). You can't play football like that anymore, hence my Moloney is finished, but it was a much more exciting game to watch.

I've noticed that as well. It got me excited when I first saw it. Then I realized that it was unnecessary hope. They're probably too embarrassed to put the real number on the screen, especially when the crowd is heavily in favour of a team that lost 14 games in a row.

OK. I'll rephrase what I said. He has the POTENTIAL to be a franchise player. He has the skill and appearance, and yes, appearance has an influence. He probably won't be, but he could be, more so then anyone else imo. I mean, who else could be? (god help anyone who says Bruce)

It's getting to a point now where I honestly can't see us surviving. They'll always be a Melbourne, but I can seriously see a completely new brand, team and direction. Much like how the Victoria Titans turned into the Victoria Giants in the NBL a few years ago, although that failed miserably.
