  1. By some players revolt. Not all players, according to reports. So, that infamous tail is still wagging. We need to get that sorted out, by end of season.
  2. Yes. Toe Jammin'. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1Zcq9UoMr8
  3. This is exactly why we have Pedo on the list, for his bulk & experience, and his willingness to do a job for the club, when required. He's almost our best servant. We all wanted him resigned last year because of his honesty and we wanted to repay that. We did, and now we need him already. Seems a contract very worthwhile already.
  4. I would say we won't see him in AFL for a month. after a couple of gamnes in the VFL for recapturing fitness. He's had an interrupted Pre season, as has TMc. So they will be both low on fitness. Again we should not have to rely on these 2, in the very early part of this season; we have a number of quality players to handle the job at hand. But we will have to rely on them in the back half of the season. That is when I want those two firing on all cylinders. fresh & hungry. Time for the young gunners to stand and be counted, to actually do something. As well as Jones, Lew, Vinnie, the Jet and Hibbo, can help steer the ship.
  5. Yep, but more important for the end of season, rather than early doors. Keep them till they are cherries, ripe for the pickin'. I want them firing on all 4's, ah, 2's, by the middle of the season when the going starts to get tougher. We'll be needing all our experienced players firing, from July on-wards. Now is the time to get responsibilities shared out. Our 23 Yr olds need to stand up & be counted, hands up for the job.
  6. were you in on it IT ?
  7. Don't give a milly; they'll take a mile. I hope our defence is up to the task.
  8. the camp is past, but the attitude has not.
  9. not me, I not on facebook or any of those newby things. just aware of stuff around that is good fr health & healing. I've been surrounded by some loved ones with life impacting health issues, so am motivated to research read up on stuff. Its difficult to have solid information when clubs keep the information secret & send misinformation around. so we can only speculate. A bit like the father with 5 girls, locked out of the delivery room. for hours after.
  10. Simple, watch the power teams on Fox, and NOT on Prime-Time Free2Air. Do Not watch the D's on Fox in Prime-Time, but watch on Free2Air Prime Time to help kick-start our Free2Air ratings. Every little bit helps this club climb back up. If people don't do the little things, they are simply relying on others, Our club, the TV networks, the AFL, etc and other clubs, to help us. We have to do all things we supporters can, to help rebuild this club. It can't be done just on the luck of the draw and on recruits from drafting or trading. The club is on the improve with the list, So NOW is the time for the supporters to Lend a BIG Hand,,, and to help in ALL the little ways possible. The way we view our footy, is crucial to getting Free2Air Prime-Time time slots.
  11. I don't think I'm missing the boat at all. The thing is we as a club are still trying to breakaway from the old soft ways that have haunted us from within our culture, for decades. Your the one who is only looking from the players perspective, and some worrier supporters are more worried about the players not wanting to work. And apparently it is the young players who didn't want to go. and they didn't want to speak up as well. What sort of players & future leaders are were growing, that do not feel strong enough to speak up about strongly held views, so they go outside the club to the players union to act for them in secrecy? That's a bit weak-kneed, don't you think. It seems these players are just the ones who do need this type training. See, my perspective is not for players softness, but for them to develop into strong competitors who can speak UP for themselves, without fear. This action by the players is very much like Gysberts refusing to take part in a time trial. Ah, really rusty? So, I think you have missed the boat from the clubs development perspective on these camps taking out the lack of medics Re any serious injuries.
  12. So out of all the players, one player did something silly putting on his back-pack, and so you want to demonise all camps? Do you want to stop all contact in preseason, for fear of concussions. I think one of our players was concussed at training just a few weeks back? Why haven't you said anything about that issue? Organising a medic to be at hand, is not hard to do?
  13. https://edgylabs.com/cbd-heals-bone-fractures Send hm to arizona for 6 weeks of treatment, and to come back without a hair on his body. https://www.endoca.com/blog/cbd-bone-healing/
  14. Kept on running with that plantar-fascia injury, would heap stresses on other areas of the foot & legs. No doubt he created other sore spots under that loading in that period, prior to the surgery to release the tendon, then cam back too soon, as well. I sincerely hope this is not turning out to be desaster.
  15. I think thats why he sourced out the juice, outa desperation to get that injury right. I remember feeling so sorry for him back then as he had so many setbacks with it. He was a hero to me in those days. but he turned to the dark side. Trying to self heal is creativity. But greed to get advantage by crookery, is just [censored]-weak.
  16. lets hope this makes his knock-ability better.
  17. Lets hope he'll be right for Sunday. I'd like to have him in as backup for the backline. I see him as a future Qtr-back type. vision to spot targets. I don't have faith in him in-under anymore. But I'd like to utilise his vision and ability to deliver.
  18. I agree. But there no point US propping up the power clubs numbers watching their prime time home games as supporters; when it is so bloody hard to get our ratings up. By doing that, we just add to their ratings numbers. at our own detriment. And look at edi-everywhere. he tries to portray QB/day game as the pies own home game. 'full of it' that one. Such is the arrogance of maintaining their hold over the rest of the stragglers within the competition.
  19. This is why we all have to stop supporting the Big4 on Free2Air TV. Do not watch them in Prime Time. The longer we keep propping Up they're numbers in ratings, we make it harder on ourselves to get ratings that AID our own growth back up to where we Once belonged. Once Upon a Time !
  20. Right side nearest centre = Viney?
  21. 2nd silhouette on the right = Daisy Pearce.
  22. I don't mind that, if we go small up front. If Petracca was in a Giles mold, then we could fit ANB on the f/flank. Hogan rotating, R/R & CHF with Petracca.
  23. I was thinking on the wing, for Hunt, to cut off either Danger or Lil Gaz, when they're on-ball. With Lever down back, he, Lew and Salem can aid to cut off those 2 Cats, when forward.
  24. We need that quality runner, who is not totally outside.
  25. I'd go Sloane, with a $3.2mill over 4yrs contract offer. ($850thou Yr1, $650thou Yrs2&3, $1m Yr4) = $3.2m over 4yrs, mostly back-ended. If we can squeeze it in. We need a mature player of his type.
