The idiots at AFL House spent 10 years speeding up the game because of TV. They ignored supporters and coaches railing against the 'basketball' nature of the modern game. Look at the crowds they would say. Now they are trying to slow it down under the guise of player welfare. They will NEVER NEVER NEVER admit they stuffed up. Look at the crowds I say. Let me get this right. Cronulla employed some sport scientists. They then sacked their sport scientists and coaching staff because of allegations of supplement use. The same sports scientists went to Essendon and now they are under scrutiny for supplement use. Why do I get the feeling the media is taking the 'poor Essendon' approach. They are a 'victim of circumstances'. I am outraged by this approach. particularly when compared with the slime we have had to contend with for 8 months. That is actually not true. The inconsistency is abhorrent. COuldnt be bothered listing them but the number is extremely high where one holding the ball is paid and another virtually similar isn't, Its a problem when you have 9 games a weekend with 3 umpires plus emergency. PLus boundary umps can jump in and call frees as well. Consistency just falls away and away....

Davey apart from a 10 day period when he looked in good form seems to have reverted in the past 2 matches. Can't get near the pill. FFS if Davey and Sylvia actually put in like 10 yr players should then we wouldn't be nearly as bad.
