Wont help us.

I hate those articles. Our players haven't done anything yet. Stay off the pump that blows bubbles where the sun don't shine...

Our defence is not up to it. We are playing a man down in the tall, strong dept. Oscar was repeatedly isoloated against Brown yesterday and ge whiz what a surprise Brown has a day out. Thanks the Lord we picked up Hibberd. He has been tremendous. Nev has bene great as well but we still leak goals and too much is left to too few.

We still leak goals. Our defence plays a man down with Oscar.

Meccano. Could mark.

Go through our losses when Kent plays and he is always near the bottom of the stats. That for me is a clear sign he cannot be relied upon when we are playing poorly. This of course added to what my own eyes tell me. Classic downhill skier.

OMac and Weid have to go. They are only getting games because of their height. We are playing 2 men down with those 2 in the side. Kent is an absolute downhill skier. Whenever we get beaten he is down at the bottom of the stats. The umps were an absolute disgrace. Bernie got punched with a clenched fist to the gut and the ump was 5m away. No free or report. We got 10 frees in a whole game of footy that was as fierce as you will see, They should all be sacked,

Melksham is 25yo. How is he not the future?

If Clarry doesn't get the nod this week that means he can't get GOTY. If his goal is not in the running for GOTY that would be a massive joke on the award. Olivers was deliberate for a start. Westoff's was kick and hope. But knowing PA supporters and how little they have to do between collecting their Centrelink cheques I suspect they will be hitting the voting lines big time to make it happen for their boy.

Parish is a good, slightly better than ordinary footballer. Not sure he will reach great heights.

A lot of you people should remember that it is easy to be armchair critics and much more difficult to generate, embrace and execute ideas. We need to embrace ideas from everywhere we can. If it is true that the club did not engage with Dees 2014 or at the very least reply then that is poor form indeed. My experience working in professional sports is that the majority are largely myopic and come from within the sports themselves with little outside commercial experience. They need all the help they can get yet I am not surprised they did not respond to the letter sent by Dees 2014.

I would watch Waite and Higgins carefully. Also Cunnington and Ziebell get a lot of it.

2 incidents last weekend. Tyson shoving his boot into Atkins to take a mark and Cyril shoving his knee into someone to try and take a mark (Cyril btw is out for 6 weeks which I am happy about). The difference is that one was protecting himself as a player was charging him front on. Cyril arguably meant to do damage and jumped from behind/side. The irony is he injured himself. Karma is a biatch as Beemer would say.

The problem with rules that can be interpreted is that you have 3 field umpires who interpret it differently

Wow, do you ever watch a game Bobby? Harmes is mostly a butcher with the ball.

We all know DE stats are next to useless. Context is everything. Having said that it's not his DE that's the knock. Its his physicality or lack of it, his decision making and his intensity that is the problem. He is like a rabbit in the headlights and has a turning circle worse than the Queen Mary. One on one he is a disaster which is why teams try to isolate him all the time.
-
That is quite an arrogant comment. We have a lot of specialists here you know....
-
He was given permission by the club to break the story. Sometimes its worth having a jounro on your side as you never know when you might need a favour at some point later on
-
And how good is Hibberd? We have snagged one here.....
-
Hunt from all reports has had little or no symptoms of concussion (other than being knocked out cold!) Was up and about and lucid during the rest of the game. Maynard has shown signs I believe..
-
Maybe coming along better than first expected Jane? Now listed as 1wk...
-
Consider this: We have won 3 x as many games away from the MCG than at our home ground!

Club saying that Jesse wanted to play on the weekend. As an aside, I wonder whether this had any influence on the players and their ferocious desire to win the game? You would have to think they knew something serious was happening....

The push in the back rule is fast becoming obsolete. Every game I see players running and kicking and at the last minute the chaser shoves them in the middle ofthe back. No free. The ball skews off and is turned over or goal missed. It does my head in. The other rule currently doing my head in is the oppo player within 10m of a player taking a mark or getting a free kick. Every week now I see players run from behind or the side to stand the mark or simply waltz on by with their arms up in the air ('I am not in the play') yet it stops the player with the ball playing on in that direction. They were over hot on it last year now it has been forgotten Typical AFL and their rule of the week mentality.

Ditto Go Jesse we are with you. Sending positive vibes to you and your family.
