That would be worse than listening to the Perth stations broadcast an Eagles game......

Interchange changes to reduce congestion
Every rule change over a 20 year period was designed to speed up the game. Interchange is the one that allows players to run all day. Keep reducing it. Don't listen to the coaches as they have never been interested in the look of the game. Less interchange and you will have less congestion. personally I'd be happy with 10 per quarter. And get rid of the other non-playing people on the ground clogging up space. Runners - gone. Yesterdays relic and entirely unecessary. Water carriers - only allowed on field after a goal. Problem solved.

Threat to runners
Runners should be outlawed full stop. They are a blight on the game. I can't think of any other game where people run on/off the field like AFL. International vistors always comment on it - 'who are those guys out there!' They block space, tell players how long left in a quarter and basically coach from on ground. It'stotally ridiculous. Get rid of them. It's a relic from another age when communications were not there, we had captain/coaches and no interchange. I'll make an exception for water carriers because players do run a lot and the carriers I think are only allowed on after a goal is scored or other break in play...

The Many Sides of Jake Melksham
Well done Fonzie, I was w-w-w-wr-wro.........!

The Many Sides of Jake Melksham
His long, low, flat kicks are a delight to watch. Terrific player with great skills. My only (minor) knock is his one on one form where he can try too much to do the body thing rather than just go straight for the ball. Great first goal last week. Beautiful clean pick up and dribble kick on his wrong side. Also very happy that the Bomber wing nuts who used to jump down his throat regularly must now be grinding their teeth at what a weapon he is..for us!

The 2019 fixture

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
Thanks Capt Obvious

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
Viney said his toe was sore before the Freo game but wanted to see how he pulled up afterwards....

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
I say bring in bugg to tag Selwood and put Harmes in defence. Tyson to replace Hannan.

Hibberd Ruled Out of Cats Clash with Quad
They are both turnover merchants. I wouldn't put Pig in that category.

Our workrate
You can talk these guys up all you like. The results are there to see. Last season and this. Defenders are there to stop scoring . We simply can't do that at the average rate in the AFL when oppo teams go i50 . We are well below average. In fact this year we are 16th. I'll say it again for you. 16th. Doesnt matter what i think. we are close to the worst. Last year we were the worst. OMac is hopeless in my view. He played a couple of decent games this year but thats it. Jetta's stats this year are actually pretty bad but I do rate him. Hibberd is not playing like he was last year. Salem is Ok without being great. We were last in stopping oppo marks inside defensive 50 last year. Not sure what the stat is this year but I would hazard a guess and say its close to that. Our talls back there are just no good.

Our workrate
we have a c.rap defence who are incapable of defending one on one. Same as last year. And when our mids are so lazy and let oppo players run past them at will it makes for a terrible result. Goodwin says he knows the problem - I am actually starting to doubt it - but it is the same in the Cats, Pies and PA games. 16th this year for scores once oppo are i50. we were 18th last year. What a disgrace. Roos must cringe watching that vision. I do.

New CEO - Gary Pert
The jungle drums are beating about this... I have some limited experience with Collingwood when Pert was there and its fair to say the view is he is an ordinary bloke and an even more ordinary administrator. I hope I am wrong but I don't feel good about this appointment.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
The were later fined extensively for breaching the salary cap in that year. Another tainted flag.... In 1996, Essendon were fined a record $638,250 ($250,000 in back tax and penalties, $112,000 for draft tampering and $276,250 for breaching the salary cap regulations), forfeited their first, second and third round picks in the National Draft and were excluded from the 1997 rookie and pre-season drafts after a joint Australian Tax Office and AFL investigation found that they had committed serious and systematic breaches of the salary cap regulations totalling $514,500 between 1991 and 1996, including $110,000 in 1993 when Essendon won the premiership No sympathy at all for that rotting stinking carcass of a club.

Yes but badly! Maybe the Morris' were the only two to compete in the championships for the first 30 or so years!

Injury List - Season 2018
Tom Morris Sr. Old Tom Morris didn't invent the game of golf, but he is recognized as the sport's founding father. He played in the first 36 British Opens, winning four times, and sired a son, Tom Morris Jr., who won the world's oldest golf championship four times on his own. Morris still holds two British Open records—oldest champion (age 46 in 1867) and largest victory margin (13 in 1862).
