  1. Saad bump.... The ball was arguably within 5m. Didn't hit the head...should get off. Recall Steven may's bump a few weeks back on Curnow AFTER Curnow had disposed of the ball...as I said at the time..."What really is bizarre is that Michael Christian when giving his reason said May was allowed to bump because the ball was within 5 meters. Curnow had disposed of the ball and the hit was absolutely late yet according to Christian if the bump had been lower he was well within his rights and would not have been sanctioned." Didn't agree with that then and now they couldn't possibly sanction Brown's bump on Saad unless they are being totally contradictory (which wont surprise anyone...) The AFL have another stupid decision hanging over them because they don't use common sense....
  2. And he has been holding down a key back role at Casey...
  3. Bernie had a shocker so understand the decision there. We are looking at the Pederson inclusion maybe the wrong way. Maybe we now give the Swans something to worry about - ie: our talls and marking ability. How will they counter that? Cam can give Max a chop out of he is sore. Maybe Max stays in the square and lets Hogan roam up the ground. It looks like a pretty flexible side on paper. The Swans have strangled our forwards in the past, this may make it a lot more dfifficult for them. And if Hunt can find some form he can be a weapon for us as we head to the next few weeks... Will be interesting....
  4. Just looking at past scores.. The Swans last four wins against Melbourne they have scored : 85pts, 86pts, 88pts and 69pts. Hardly a devastating forward line. So if our midfield holds sway and we can get our season average i50s we should by rights get a win....
  5. Frost played on Buddy (4g 3b). OMac on Rohan. This was the Friday night game that Bugg hit Mills. Swans lost their first 6 games and this was their 9th win. 1st qtr Swans had 9 shots on goal for 1g 8b. We started with 4 straight.
  6. Its more about beating teams in the 8 who you are likely to meet in finals. We need to improve our record starting this Sunday....
  7. Goodwin said that Gawn is likely to train fully on Saturday so fingers crossed all is well with the big fella
  8. Interesting that Weideman and Pederson are on the extended bench. Gawn didn't play a lot of the last quarter against GC from memory. Goodwin's last sentence "we're really confident of that" makes me a lot less confident he'll play. And the vibe on Hunt is increasing...
  9. One of the few times I can agree with you mrs McDonald.
  10. Goodwin on Franklin: "Sam Frost will get the first look at Buddy, and we’ll have some plans in place. " Well done on being wrong again.
  11. FWIW Squiggle Autotip has us finishing 2nd..
  12. The length is somewhat irrelevant, its the width that causes teams more difficulty in defending with a press.
  13. Just watching the 2nd qtr and 2 mins in Tysone turns it straight over !
  14. Hunt did his ankle in the last play of the day at a casey game against the Dogs I think? His form drop off was well before that. In fact he started the season quite poorly. His kicking can be all over the place but other than that not sure what specific tasks he was given to work on at Casey..I hope whatever it is it works out as well as Brayshaw's stint in the dewies....
  15. Lol

So having not followed the tribunal hearing was it 9 down to 8? is impact not taken into consideration? Buggy would have every right to feel aggrieved. Or did the 'good guy'' defence play out as vs a ''serial pest?'
  23. 6 weeks for a hammy?? WTF?

Tom Bugg is the anti-Christ compared to Andrew Gaff or so it would seem from the comparative media coverage....
