Lets get over Roos appointment instead of worrying who will succeed him! Lot of work needed to get right structures & people to cement right culture & development in place to ensure this remains for many yrs

The job that Craig has done to turn this team to get them to provide a contest @ afl standard within the last 4 weeks has been great, when you consider the damage that was done by Neeld! When you hear players the belief that Craig has shown in them eg Watts & Fitzpatrick & plenty of others, it just amazes me how the club allowed his style to basically push out players like Moloney & Rivers.

No coach in particular a Eade or Williams will sign for 2 yrs as our rebuild will need a 5yr plan They need confidence from the club, coach needs to make decisions based on long term

Only1 of these coahes has coached 2 GF 1 Flag & 1 loss Williams won it in 2004....game has changed but continues to be in at the cold face Eade great at getting to Prelims & building both the Swans & Bulldogs

Geelong highest draft pick in over 10yrs is pick 7..... How many early picks in the Swans.....look at 2012 premiership team I rest my case..... Get the culture,drafting & development right........The mfc have done a terrible job here for many yrs & only twice since 64 with Northey & Daniher have they come close Sure the Cats have a number of father sons......but they need the correct environment to develop! Why can the Swans get recycled players & turn their careers around??

Amazing Geelongs highest draft pick in over 10yrs is number 7! Goes to show that our club was fixated on tanking to get early picks that they forget that its culture & development that makes players not their draft number!

No issue with getting help from the AFL as its clear our board has failed poorly & we neeed it. My post wast to highlight that a PP alone will not fix our list......& this was the pathway which resulted in tanking & destoyed the culture.

Yeah thats happened in the last 5+ yrs! Listen to Craigs presser Its the club responsibility to ensure that we provide the correct environment on development & strong culture & ensure we keep players....not the other way around! Scully, money aside I dont blame him for leaving......the trainwreck that was occuring was evident to him & the $$$ just made that decision easy!

This sums up the very sad state of our supporters & the idiots who ran our club over the last 5yrs & created a poor culture Looking for a quick fix! Melbourne dont need a PP....... We need a coach who has climbed the mountain & won a flag! Development of players must be evident! A coach who has fire in the belly! Williams- 3 of 3 Roos- 2 of 3 Eade- 2 of 3 Craig- 1 of 3 Only Willams & Eade have shown real fire in the belly & this job will take 6+ yrs! & Williams has done all 3 Both Craig & Roos have said no interest in coaching & I think we need to move on from Craig with all due respect to him.

Whats clear here is we need a President that is 100% commited along with board members that can set the right culture & start making ccorrect football deisions When you here Freeman in that intereview it dosent sound like his 100% in becoming president & to say we can play finals in 3 yrs is just typical of how far away he is! We cant even win a qtr of football,,,,just sounds like silvertail stuff! Kennett hate him or love him has shown more fight & passion from someone who wants to fix & change the culture!

We need to look past Craig & fresh start .... players need am outsider to come in All respect to Craig bit I say coaching is over for him as he stated a number of times! We need someone with fire in the belly & a 5yr plan!

Club needs to get this right! Need a premiership coach..1 Ross 2 Williams Need a coach who can embrace the players & get the maximum from them & not drive a stake thru them as Neeld did!

On the money here...have stated before our drafting & development in 2000s was terrible....& even worse over the last 5 yrs!. Throw Brock Mclean,Moloney & Rivers all should have been leaders but our culture was very poor!

It amazes me how people just cant see we are a joke & can find positives in a 80 pt loss The KPIs set by Coll,Haw, etc are standard afl requirements! Are we getting the right players with correct BEHAVIOUR characteristcs?

Why are players like spud Rodan getting games...when you have Couch & Magna getting high possesions each weak? You would think that they are the future.......

Love him or hate him.... Very strong leader! Would fight tooth & nail for the footy club across all levels! Create strong culture and dosent want houndouts rather build on self reliance! Would never put up with tanking culture! Club needs a change.....
