  1. I'm pretty sure he hurt his shoulder early against the Dogs
  2. Any news on the Hibberd hold up Chell?
  3. This simply cannot be judged until this time next year.
  4. The butter glides over the bread, like a swallow glides through the air
  5. Lewis is a leader, Rockliff is not
  6. Hope he's a big jumper, coz at 197cm, he's not exactly towering over other ruckman (though Jamar was only 198cm himself) ANB out & Dear in perhaps?
  7. This bloke might be on our radar Darcy Cameron (2/3 down the page)
  8. I reckon he would've started seeing the MFC in a new light after the touch up we gave them in round 20. Funny what winning games of footy can do.
  9. What he would do, at the very least, is force one of our bottom 6 (of which there is still a few) out of the team. As already stated, M. Jones played 10 games this year, Trengove 3, Newton 2, ANB 4, Bugg played 18! I consider Lewis to be superior to all these players' and by the length of the Flemington straight. Lewis replacing a bottom 6 player in the starting 22 both wipes out some red and adds some black at the same time. If we could squeeze 2 years of good footy out of him, it would do wonders whilst our younger brigade develop. He would also provide a chop out for the likes of Viney, Tyson, Clarry, etc. The positives far outweigh the negatives on this one.
  10. Dew was drafted by the Hawks in the 3rd round of the 2007 draft
  11. I'd rather give them this year's 2nd round pick, next year's draft is meant to be superior to this year's.
  12. Bombers will take Mcluggage @ 1, just depends on who the Lions want.
  13. Clarke isn't much of a forward. Then again, he isn't much of a ruckman either. His lack of a physical presence is one of his major flaws.
  14. Less than what Viney would be on.
  15. Both. I'd say that he will play as that sweeping player across the pack when the ball comes inside defensive 50, then run and kick the ball off half-back.
  16. Hogan @ CHF, Weid @ FF & Resting ruck @ FP/Bench Watts as a high roaming HFF kicking it to Hogan, or filling the space Hogan has created leading up as CHF. Simples.
  17. Surely Carlton would have enough cap space to trump WCE. If not, they could always revert back to their VISY type deals.
  18. I wouldn't rely on the figures reported by Ralph, given that he reports that our premiership drought is now up to 62 years - "Hogan says he has aspirations to remain at Melbourne past his current deal, eager for that premiership that has eluded the Demons for so long — at 62 years now the longest premiership drought". Clearly numbers aren't his strong-suit, but 2016 - 1964 = 52 It again highlights Ralph's quality as a journalist, imo.
  19. wouldn't be against this
  20. The year's in his next contract extension, perhaps? Maybe it's a 'G'
  21. Only if the player agrees to it.
  22. Still needs to work on his tank.
  23. Premiership medallion. Blake (Geelong), Gawn, Goldstein, Sandilands, etc..... (0)
