  1. Again it shows that all the AFL cares about nowadays is making money……….who cares about the quality of the game. This league no longer deserves to be considered as the pinnacle of the sport, as it tarnishes most things that has made the game of Aussie Rules so great.
  2. what I don’t like is that Rankine and the Crows clearly are more concerned about clearing him from his transgression, as opposed to comprehending the seriousness and consequences of his actions. If they cared so much, he should have never put himself in this position and the Crows should have better educated him. If him missing a potential GF is the only way he and by extension the rest of the players in the AFL will learn, so be it.
  3. As the GM of AFL football performance, I gather that he is responsible for ensuring our FD is kicking goals figuratively. We haven’t for a while now and are going backwards. Hes equally culpable for allowing the environment to slip to the level it is at now. Gotta go.
  4. Am wondering how Richardson is surviving the cull? He should’ve been the first to go.
  5. How about Wes Walley? Surely the best name of the lot
  6. Should’ve got him to swear he’ll build our home base Ghosty
  7. Let’s just start with the MFC
  8. We may have a player here. Something tends to happen when he has it
  9. Just means that it’s getting closer for that streak to inevitably end
  10. Was it glandular fever he had for a long time that caused him to drop a ton of weight over the off-season? Either way, off no pre-season, he is showing good signs with a huge upside if he gets a clean run at it over this coming pre-season.
  11. Don’t know why Sparrow keeps getting gifted games.
  12. Dogs don’t do defence, they just try and outscore their opposition. A problem come finals, as defence becomes invaluable
  13. Problem is that no one else is banging the door down to replace them. Kozzie maybe, but we’d then need 2 of him
  14. Does that make it 25% mental in total? 😁
  15. Bailey Dale up to a whopping 14 disposals 20 minutes in. On track for 84 atm.
  16. Was at the game. It was ruined by numerous bunker interventions. We should also target Xavier Coates.
  17. I don’t think Newcombe should be though. Howe was concussed from hitting his head on the ground, not the collision itself. But it’s the MRO and Gleeson, so who knows.
  18. He needs to have a big and injury free preseason. But so do all players. Establishing yourself as a smaller forward is tough. Hard position to play. Kozzie tearing it up from day one just shows what a talent he really is.
  19. I’d say that honestly im feeling relief more than anything. No more wondering will they won’t they regarding the coach, a little more optimism with future game plans, and that change (however it happens) is afoot. Goodwin’s time was up, not his fault the board overcommitted. As a premiership coach he deserved his full payout. The club and Simon can now move forwards.
  20. Over 90k at the game that night, with at least 2/3 being Dees supporters. It was a sea of red. Never seen more Dees supporters at a game.
  21. Train at the G until Caulfield is ready
  22. I think Lindsay will be indeed a difference maker.
  23. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the boys are really flat this weekend
