Agreed. I’d take the 4 year offer off the table and give him a standard 2 year deal. He has shown very little progress in his development this year and does not deserve a 4 year extension. he’s a HBF (a dime a dozen) whose defending has gone backwards along with his disposal and decision making. If this club is serious in its ambitions to turn around our fortunes, we’ve got to get serious in contract negotiations as well.
