  1. I don't want to put any pressure on Kalani White. Let him have fun and enjoy his footy this year. He still has a lot of development to do. He can make up his mind at the end of the season.
  2. Would it be worth chasing Jamarra Ugle-Hagan from the Bulldogs? A fresh start at the Demons might do him good?
  3. I just wanted to make the important note that one of the new Melbourne Demons board members in Chris Barlow is part of the Barlow Family which owns/owned 7-Eleven. The Barlow Family net worth is about $1.95 billion dollars. So, hopefully, Chris Barlow, and other wealthy Melbourne supporters are generous enough to help financially contribute towards the development of our new Home Base at Caulfield Racecourse. I would most certainly contribute a significant donation too, but I am still waiting to win the lottery. Fingers crossed though! 😉🤞🏻
  4. Would really like Matthew Jefferson to get a chance to prove himself this season in the AFL. Hoping he spends as much spare time as possible in the gym. He still needs to bulk up quite a bit in my opinion. However, I do believe he has the talent to make it. He just needs to get MUCH stronger! Pump those weights Jeffo! ❤️💙
  5. I am assuming Jai Culley is still in the precautionary moon boot and taking it easy? Hopefully he is pumping those weights in the gym. Curious to hear how Harvey "The Bison" Langford went today in the training match, did he get much of the ball?
  6. That's a relief that Jai Culley's moon boot is only precautionary. Hope he takes it easy and we get to see him kicking huge goals from outside 50 metres on the MCG later in the season. Looking forward to seeing Harvey "The Bison" Langford debut soon too! ❤️💙
  7. Hope they did lots of goal kicking practice. Get David Neitz down to training to help them out!
  8. Great to hear Clarrie's thoughts on things. Honesty is always the best policy. I cannot speak highly enough of Brad Green as President. He has done amazing work mending wounds at the Melbourne Football Club. Love is definitely the big factor now at the Demons! ❤️💙
  9. With all the points being scored it is definitely very frustrating. Kicking 24 behinds in a game is just plain awful. My personal opinion is that we need a dedicated goal kicking coach at the Melbourne Football Club. Someone who will focus on getting the player's techniques correct and making sure they dedicate time to practicising their goal kicking at the beginning and end of each training session.
  10. Thank you for the update. It is greatly appreciated! 😎👍🏻
  11. It's a shame Jake Melksham isn't ready yet. He would be handy in the forward line.
  12. I am sure the Demons membership department would like a win. However, I am just hoping there are no injuries. Getting the team cherry ripe for the Round 1 game against the Giants needs to be the priority.
  13. With Jai Culley being promoted to the Demons AFL list it will be interesting to see if Casey is able to invite another former AFL player to join the team. However, I am not sure when VFL lists need to be finalised by.
  14. Here's a good interview that Jai Culley did a couple of years ago before he was taken in the 2022 mid-season draft. He mentioned in the interview he did with "Into the Fire" on YouTube that he was a Demons supporter/member. Jai also mentioned that he was doing work with a sprint coach to help his speed during football matches. I like the fact that he is a booming kick and can easily kick goals from outside 50 metres. Hope he gets a chance to play in the Demons AFL side sometime this season when he earns a spot.
  15. I definitely think Xavier Lindsay could play on the half back flank for the Demons in the near future. However, I think he is still working on his fitness levels after his knee injury last year. I don't have too high of an expectation on him for just his first year. So I will just wait and see when he gets to earn a spot in the AFL side for the Demons. Nevertheless, it's great that we have another elite kick in the team. The more elite kicks and excellent decision makers we have at the Demons the better!
  16. Very wholesome and cute! I absolutely love it when a kid who barracked for the Demons is lucky enough to play for the AFL Club he supported growing up. Fingers crossed Jai gets to run out on the MCG sometime this year representing the Melbourne Demons! 🔴🔵👹
  17. 25 years is an amazing achievement. Congratulations @Demonland! ❤️💙 Anyway, I have updated my email address, so I shall be ready for whenever the imminent changeover is scheduled to happen.
  18. Hopefully Jack Henderson and Jai Culley get a good hit out in this practice match.
  19. Wonderful to hear! ❤️💙
  20. Some excellent leadership shown by MFC President Brad Green. I loved him as a Demons player. I love him even more as a President. ❤️💙
  21. Hopefully Jai Culley is doing well? Very happy he is now officially a Demon. Being a Melbourne supporter growing up this must be a dream come true for him. Please let Harvey "The Bison" Langford know we all look forward to him earning a spot in the AFL side when Simon Goodwin thinks he is ready.
  22. Some pretty good ones there. Here are my suggestions for possible nicknames for those players who don't seem to have them...yet? Andy Moniz-Wakefield - Monza, Mozza, Mozzy, Wakey, The Hyphen. Luke Kentfield - Kents, Kento, Kenta, The Pumpkin. Jed Adams - Addz, Addo, Gomez, Fester, Lurch (a few Addams Family references there).
  23. True, we can only speculate. I would hope that due to MFC President Brad Green's commitment to transparency that he would tell us if a formal complaint about the NGA system has been in motion. However, perhaps the MFC is waiting for a response from the AFL first. Anyway, I guess I am still angry that the Demons missed out on Mac Andrew a couple of years ago.
  24. I have never given a Demons player their own nickname before. We shall see if it catches on with his teammates I guess? I think "The Bison" suits Harvey Langford due to his strength and determination. He looks like the type of player who is ultra competitive and hates losing too. I am sure fans have suggested nicknames for Demons players before, but I do agree that it's usually teammates who choose them. I never had any choice in the nickname I was given when I played footy. 🤣 Obviously, commentators (such as Rex Hunt back in the 1990s and Brian Taylor in recent times) choose nicknames for players too, but whether or not they are taken up by teammates is another matter altogether. Nevertheless, I would be quite pleased if Brian Taylor or Bruce McAvaney started calling Harvey Langford "The Bison" but we shall have to wait for the AFL season to properly begin and Harvey also needs to earn his spot in the team.
  25. It's all about the fabric and the culture of Australian Rules Football. Gotta have your nicknames! 😁 Even better when there's a bit of a background story behind them.
